PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA JELADA (JELAJAH PULAU INDONESIA) BERBASIS CAI PADA MATERI PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK GEOGRAFIS INDONESIA KELAS V SD

Keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang cukup berdampak dalam pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan sebagai penunjang guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan adanya permasalahan yang dialami siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran IPS khususnya materi pengaruh karakteristik geografis Indonesia karena guru belum mampu mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang sesuai materi. Dengan demikian diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu mengkonkretkan materi yang abstrak dan kompleks menjadi lebih mudah dipahami sesuai dengan karakter siswa SD yaitu dengan menggunakan multimedia JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) berbasis CAI.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan prosedur pengembangan media, mengetahui kelayakan media, serta mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terkait penggunaan multimedia JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) berbasis CAI pada materi pengaruh karakteristik geografis Indonesia kelas V SD. Kelayakan multimedia JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) berbasis CAI diperoleh melalui hasil pengisian uji validasi ahli materi serta ahli media dan pemberian post-test. Sedangkan respon guru dan siswa diperoleh melalui pengisian angket respon pengguna.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Babatan I/456 Surabaya sebanyak 10 siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan sebanyak 24 siswa pada uji coba lapangan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media serta post-test untuk memperoleh data kelayakan produk, lalu angket respon pengguna untuk memperoleh data respon guru dan siswa.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk mendapatkan persentase 95% dari validasi materi; 93,33% dari validasi media; 91 dari skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa; 97,50% dari angket respon guru; dan 95,25% dari angket respon siswa. Didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa multimedia JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) berbasis CAI sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS materi pengaruh karakteristik geografis Indonesia dapat memberikan hasil belajar siswa di atas KKM serta memperoleh respon yang positif dari guru dan siswa sebagai pengguna.

The limited use of learning media is one of the problems that has an impact on learning. Learning media are needed to support teachers in delivering learning materials. Based on the results of preliminary studies that have been conducted, it is found that there are problems experienced by students in understanding social studies learning materials, especially the material on the influence of Indonesia's geographical characteristics, because the teacher has not been able to develop learning media that suit the material. Thus, learning media are needed that can concretize abstract and complex material to be more easily understood in accordance with the character of elementary school students, namely by using multimedia JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) based on CAI.
This study aims to explain the media development procedures, determine the feasibility of the media, and determine the responses of teachers and students related to the use of CAI-based JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) multimedia on the influence of Indonesia's geographical characteristics in grade V elementary school. The feasibility of CAI-based JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) multimedia is obtained through the results of filling out the validation test with material and media experts and giving post-tests. Meanwhile, teacher and student responses were obtained through filling out user response questionnaires.
This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The subjects of this study were VA class students of SD Negeri Babatan I/456 Surabaya, with as many as 10 students in the small group trial and as many as 24 students in the field trial. The research instruments used were material expert and media expert validation sheets and post-tests to obtain product feasibility data, then user response questionnaires to obtain teacher and student response data.
The results showed that the product received a percentage of 95% from material validation, 93.33% from media validation, 91 from the average score of student learning outcomes, 97.50% from the teacher response questionnaire, and 95.25% from the student response questionnaire. It was concluded that the CAI-based JELADA (Jelajah Pulau Indonesia) multimedia is very feasible to use in learning social studies material under the influence of Indonesia's geographical characteristics and can provide student learning outcomes above KKM and get positive responses from teachers and students as users.
