MODELING PADA RESIDIVIS PENCURIAN DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF BANDURA
MODELING IN THE THEFT RECIDIVISTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF BANDURA

This study aims to examine the process of the formation of the criminal behavior of recurrent theft associated with modeling from the perspective of Bandura and the factors that influence the process of the formation of the criminal behavior of recurrent theft. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Based on the results of interviews with three participants, it was found that the formation and repetition of criminal theft behavior in recidivists can be explained through the modeling process. The ease with which criminal behavior is found in the surrounding environment attracts the attention of those around them so that the phenomenon is easy to remember. Then with the many rewards obtained and the cooperation between people, it becomes reinforcement for the criminals of theft.
