Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model project based Blended learning yang akan dikaji kelayakannya serta keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan visual literacy skill dan sikap Kemandirian Belajar mahasiswa.
Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick and Carey. Model tersebut terdiri dari sepuluh tahapan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data ada tiga yaitu (1) angket untuk memperoleh data tentang kelayakan produk pengembangan, (2) observasi untuk memperoleh data visual literacy skill, sikap Kemandirian Belajar serta keterlaksanaan model, (3) penilaian produk untuk memperoleh data visual literacy skill dan sikap Kemandirian Belajar. Hal ini disesuaikan dengan variabel yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskritif prosentase dan uji t.
Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) model project based Blended learning memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dengan hasil penilaian ahli/ expert judgment sebesar 96,35%, (2) model pembelajaran project based Blended learning dapat meningkatkan visual literacy skill mahasiswa, hal ini sebagaimana ditunjukkan dengan hasil dari penghitungan dengan uji t test diperoleh nilai signifikansi berdasarkan pada kolom asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 atau signifikansi < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), (3) Model pembelajaran project based Blended learning dapat meningkatkan sikap Kemandirian Belajar mahasiswa, hal ini sebagaimana ditunjukkan dengan hasil dari penghitungan dengan uji t test diperoleh nilai signifikansi berdasarkan pada kolom asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 atau signifikansi < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05).

This research aims to produce a project based Blended learning model that will be assessed for its feasibility and effectiveness in improving visual literacy skills and responsiveness of undergraduate students of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya.
This research development uses the Dick and Carey model. The model consists of several stages. There are three instruments used in collecting data, namely (1) questionnaire to obtain data on the feasibility of product development, (2) observation to obtain data on visual literacy skills, responsibility model for implementation, (3) products to obtain data on visual literacy skills and attitudes responsible. This is adjusted to the variables that will be examined in this study. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques and t test.
The results of this development research show the fact (1) Blended project based learning model that meets the criteria of expert research results / expert judgment of 96.35%, (2) Blended learning project based learning model can improve students' visual literacy skills, this needs to be discussed with the results of calculations with the t test obtained significance values based on the asymp column. Sig (2- tailed) of 0,000 or significance <0.05 (0,000 <0.05), (3) Learning model based on Blended learning projects can increase students' motivation motivation, this is intended for the results of calculations with the t test, the significance value obtained based on the asymp column. Sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 or significance <0.05 (0,000 <0.05).
