Pengembangan Booklet Adaptasi dan Mitigasi terhadap Perubahan Lingkungan sebagai Bahan Ajar Kelas X SMA
Development of Booklets on Adaptation and Mitigation to Environmental Change as Teaching Materials for Class X of High School
Perubahan lingkungan menjadi salah satu tantangan terbesar bagi umat manusia saat ini, hingga berdampak signifikan terhadap ekosistem dan kehidupan manusia. Di Indonesia, dampak dari perubahan lingkungan sangat jelas terlihat, dengan meningkatnya frekuensi dan intensitas bencana alam. Situasi ini memerlukan upaya bersama untuk mengurangi dampak negatif dan meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi masyarakat terhadap perubahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan booklet "Adaptasi dan Mitigasi terhadap Perubahan Lingkungan" yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar bagi siswa kelas X SMA, yang layak baik secara teoritis maupun empiris. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (four-D) yang mencakup tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Validitas teoritis booklet ditentukan berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh para ahli dalam media, dan materi, serta guru biologi. Skor validitas ini digunakan untuk menilai kelayakan booklet. Validitas empiris ditentukan berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap booklet, dan hasilnya digunakan untuk menilai tingkat kepraktisan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Validasi booklet menunjukkan hasil 98,25%, yang menunjukkan tingkat validitas sangat tinggi. Respon positif siswa terhadap booklet mencapai 97,74%, yang berarti booklet "Adaptasi dan Mitigasi terhadap Perubahan Lingkungan" sangat praktis. Kesimpulannya, booklet "Adaptasi dan Mitigasi terhadap Perubahan Lingkungan" secara teoritis dan empiris sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.
Recently environmental change poses one of the most significant challenges for humanity, having substantial impacts on ecosystems and human life. In Indonesia, these effects are particularly noticeable, by the increase of frequency and severity of natural disasters. This situation requires collaborative efforts to mitigate adverse impacts and enhance the community's ability to adapt to these changes. This study aimed to create an Adaptation and Mitigation to Environmental Change booklet as teaching material for grade X of high school students, that was valid both theoretically and empirically. The research employs the 4D (four-D) development model, was including the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The booklet's theoretical validity was assessed through validation by lecturers who are experts in media, and materials, and a biology teacher. The validity score determined the booklet's feasibility. Empirical validity was gauged based on students' responses, which the booklet's practicality. Data analysis were carried out using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The validation results show that the booklet is 98.25% valid, indicating high validity. Students' positive responses was 97.74%, demonstrating that the Adaptation and Mitigation to Environmental Change booklet was highly practical. In conclusion, the booklet was deemed highly suitable for use as teaching material.
