KEBERADAAN INDUSTRI PT. KEONG NUSANTARA ABADI (WONG COCO) TERHADAP PERUBAHAN SOSIAL DAN  EKONOMI MASYARAKAT  DI DESA MOJOAYU KECAMATAN PLEMAHAN KABUPATEN KEDIRI

Industri PT. Keong Nusantara Abadi (Wong COCO) berada di Desa Mojoayu Kecamatan Plemahan Kabupaten Kediri. Keberadaan industri tersebut menjadi salah satu faktor perubahan kondisi masyarakat terutama kondisi sosial dan ekonomi. Perubahan kondisi sosial yang muncul antara lain yaitu perubahan sikap, hubungan sosial dan kontribusi industri terhadap perkembangan desa. Perubahan ekonomi yang terjadi yaitu perubahan pendapatan dan pengeluaran masyarakat desa selama satu bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik industri dan perubahan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat dengan keberadaan industri pengolahan lidah buaya.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Mojoayu Kecamatan Plemahan Kabupaten Kediri. Responden dalam penelitian ini antara lain yaitu kepala bidang pertanian, kepala HRD, PT. Keong Nusantara Abadu (Wong Coco) dan 100 KK masyarakat Desa Mojoayu dengan menggunakan simpel random sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam  penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif persentase.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik industri pengolahan lidah buaya dilihat dari alasan pemilihan lokasi dan kerjasama dengan masyarakat. Sikap masyarakat mengalami perubahan dengan jumlah 50 KK atau 50%, hubungan sosial masyarakat mengalami perubahan dengan jumlah 69 KK atau 69%, kontribusi industri pengolahan lidah buaya terhadap perkembangan desa dalam kategori kurang aktif dinyatakan dengan jumlah 56 KK atau 56 %. Pendapatan dan pengeluaran masyarakat mengalami perubahan relatif kecil dinyatakan dengan jumlah pendapatan 45% (45 KK) dan pengeluaran 46% (46 KK). Dengan demikian, keberadaan industri pengolahan lidah buaya menjadi salah satu faktor yang memberikan perubahan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Mojoayu Kecamatan Plemahan Kabupaten Kediri.

The Industry, PT. Keong Nusantara Abadi (Wong Coco) is located in Mojoayu, Plemahan, Kediri. The existence of the factory effects some of life society changes, especially social and economic issues. Because of that effects there are some social changes occurred, such as; community attitudes, social relations, and industrial society that contributes on to the village development. The economic changes that arisen are some that the income and expenditure of the villagers’ community for every month grown up. The purpose of this research is to determine that the social and economic conditions of the community changed because of the factory.

The research was a survey research using quantitive methods It was conducted in Mojoayu, Plemahan, Kediri and It involved some respondents, such as;  the head of agriculture, the head of HRD The Industry, PT. Keong Nusantara Abadi (Wong Coco), and 100 households in Mojoayu villagers’ community, with simple random sampling techniques and percentage descriptive analysis techniques.

               The results showed that the characteristics of the aloe vera processing industry were seen from the reasons for location selection and collaboration with the community in the cultivation of aloe vera.The people attitudes changes by the number of 50 households or 50%, and the social community relations by the number of 69 households or 69%. Thus, The Aloe Vera Processing Industry provides some contributions to the village development by the number of 56 households or 56% from the total 100 respondents. The people incomes and expenditure are a little bit changed are a little bit changed. Based on the research that the result showed the income number of 45 households or 45%, while public expenditure  by the number of 46 households or 46%. Therefore, It can be concluded that the existence of The Aloe Vera Processing Industry is one of the factors which provides some changes in the social and economic conditions of the people in Mojoayu, Plemahan, Kediri.
