Fasilitator merupakan seseorang yang menyediakan fasilitas dalam masyarakat. Peran fasilitator sebagai pemegang kendali dalam menggerakan partisipasi masyarakat . dalam penelitian ini peran fasilitator yang dibahas adalah peran sebagai inspirator, sebagai informator, sebagai motivator, sebagai pendamping dan sebagai mediator dalam meningkatkan kemandirian warga belajar. Kemandirian warga belajar merupakan tolok ukur utama dalam mengembangkan program - programnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakaj ada hubungan antara peran fasilitator sebagai inspiratory, informatory, motivator, pembimbing serta mediator dan kemandirian warga belajar di LSM Ademos Bojonegoro.

Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan dari satu variabel bebas terhadap satu variabel terikat. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat puluh warga belajar yang mengikuti program sebagai responden, dan sepuluh warga belajar program sinau bareng sebagai alat uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis of variance (Anova) dan Uji – t , menunjukkan bahwa adanya peran fasilitator sebagai inspirator, pembimbing dan mediator dalam meningkatkan kemandirian warga belajar. Dari hasil uji hipotesis Peran sebagai inspirator sebesar 0,001, peran sebagai pembimbing 0,000 dan peran sebagai mediator 0,000. Sehingga hipotesis penulis yang menyatakan bahwa “adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara peran fasilitator dengan kemandirian warga belajar” dapat diterima.

The facilitator is someone who provides facilities in the community. The role of the facilitator as the controller in mobilizing community participation. In this study the facilitator's role as the role of inspirator, as an informator, as a motivator, as a companion and as a mediator in increasing the independence of the learning community. Independence of the learning community is the main benchmark in developing its programs. This study aims to find the relationship between the role of facilitator as inspiratory, informatory, motivator, guidance, mediator and the independece of learning community in LSM Ademos Bojonegoro.

The research method used is a quantitative approach to determine the relationship of one independent variable to one dependent variable. Data  collected by using questionnaire, observation and documentation. This study used forty respondents who took part in the program, and ten participants of 'Sinau Bareng' program as a validity and reliability test tool. The results of the study used the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test , indicating that there was a role of the facilitator as an inspirator, guide and mediator in increasing the independence of the learning community. From the results of the hypothesis the role as an inspirator is 0.001, the role as a supervisor is 0,000 and the role as mediator is 0,000. Therefore, the author's hypothesis which states that "there is significant relationship between the role of facilitator and independence of learning community" is acceptable.
