Lamongan Regency has various historical monuments that can be utilized as educational resources. This study aims to implement Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an interactive learning medium for grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Kembangbahu. The method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes problem identification, design, development, and system evaluation stages.
The AR application is designed using marker tracking technology based on Vuforia and Unity, allowing students to view digital elements integrated with historical monuments. The system design is structured using activity diagrams to ensure the workflow aligns with user requirements.
The research results show that this application can provide a more engaging and interactive learning experience. Based on system testing using the blackbox method, the AR application functions effectively, achieving a 100% success rate. This study is expected to offer an innovative solution for developing technology-based learning media, especially for history education, and serve as a reference for other educational technology developers.
