PENGARUH GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH TERHADAP MINAT BACA SISWA KELAS VIII DI MTS NEGERI SE-KOTA KEDIRI
THE INFLUENCE OF SCHOOL LITERATION ON THE READING INTEREST
OF CLASS VIII STUDENTS IN STATE ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN KEDIRI CITY
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa kelas VIII di MTs Negeri se-Kota Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 1.111 dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 294 responden. Responden dalam penelitian ini diambil dari beberapa sekolah yaitu dari MTs Negeri 1 Kota Kediri, MTs Negeri 2 Kota Kediri dan MTs Negeri 3 Kota Kediri. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan uji hipotesis. Data penelitian diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 21.0.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) variabel gerakan literasi sekolah (X) nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan anatara gerakan literasi sekolah dengan minat baca siswa di MTs negeri se-Kota Kediri; (2) gerakan literasi sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan bersifat positif terhadap minat baca siswa sebesar0,785; (3) pengaruh geraakan literasi sekolah memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,252 yang diartikan pengaruh variabel gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa sebesar 25,2% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.

This study aims to determine the effect of the school literacy movement on the reading interest of eighth grade students in State Islamic Junior High School in Kediri City. This study used a quantitative approach with a population of 1,111 and a total sample of 294 respondents. Respondents in this study were drawn from several schools, namely from State Islamic Junior High School 1 Kediri City, State Islamic Junior High School 2 Kediri City and State Islamic Junior High School 3 Kediri City. Data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire was using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques in this study used a simple regression test and hypothesis testing. The research data were obtained and then processed was using the SPSS application version 21.0.
The results showed that: (1) school literacy movement variable (X) significance value of 0,000 <0.05 then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, meaning that there was a significant influence between school literacy movements with students' reading interest in public State Islamic Junior High School in Kediri City; (2) the school literacy movement had a significant and positive effect on students' reading interest of 0.785; (3) the influence of school literacy movement had a coefficient of determination of 0.252, which means the influence of the school literacy movement variable on students' reading interest is 25.2% and the rest was influenced by other variables.
