PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO TUTORAL SABLON TRANSFER PAPER UNTUK SISWA TUNARUNGU DI SLB TUNAS KASIH SURABAYA

DEVELOPMENT OF A TRANSFER PAPER SCREEN PRINTING TUTORIAL VIDEO FOR DEAF STUDENTS IN SLB TUNAS KASIH SURABAYA CITY

Anak tunarungu mengalami hambatan pendengaran sehingga menggunakan indera penglihatan atau visual untuk menerima dan memproses informasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, siswa tunarungu membutuhkan media visual yang konkrit dalam pembelajaran keterampilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan video tutorial sablon transfer paper dan menguji kelayakan dari video tutorial yang dikembangkan untuk siswa tunarungu di SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya. Metode penelitan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang telah dimodifikasi atau diterapkan dalam 4 tahapan meliputi analysis, design, development dan implementation. Video tutorial ini memuat materi bagaimana menerapkan sablon transfer paper dengan media tote bag polos, yang dijelaskan secara konkrit dengan adanya teks keterangan sederhana, subtitle, serta pendekatan komunikasi total dan Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia untuk mempermudah pemahaman siswa tunarungu. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa tunarungu pada jenjang SMALB dengan jumlah 6 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket hasil uji validitas ahli dan guru keterampilan sebagai praktisi pendidikan. Hasil validitas produk pengembangan video tutorial sablon transfer paper oleh ahli materi diperoleh hasil dengan presentase sebesar 80% dengan kategori layak. Hasil validitas produk oleh ahli media pembelajaran diperoleh hasil 82% dengan kategori sangat layak. Kemudian hasil validitas produk oleh guru keterampilan sebagai praktisi pendidikan di SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya diperoleh hasil 84% dengan kategori sangat layak. Maka dapat disimpilkan bahwa video tutorial sablon transfer paper dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran keterampilan sablon di SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya khususnya dalam materi sablon transfer paper.

        Deaf children experience hearing impairments so they use their sense of sight or visuals to receive and process information. Based on observation results, deaf students need concrete visual media in learning skills. This research aims to develop a transfer paper screen printing video tutorial and test the feasibility of the video tutorial developed for deaf students at SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya City. The research method used in this research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model which has been modified or applied in 4 stages including analysis, design, development and implementation. This video tutorial contains material on how to apply transfer paper screen printing using plain tote bag media, which is explained concretely with simple captions, subtitles, as well as a total communication approach and the Indonesian Sign System to facilitate understanding for deaf students. The subjects of this research were deaf students at SMALB level with a total of 6 students. The data collection technique for this research uses a questionnaire based on the results of expert validity tests and skills teachers as educational practitioners. The results of the validity of the product development of the screen printing transfer paper tutorial video by material experts obtained results with a percentage of 80% in the feasible category. The results of product validity by learning media experts obtained results of 82% with a very feasible category. Then the results of product validity by skills teachers as educational practitioners at SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya City obtained results of 84% with a very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the transfer paper screen printing video tutorial is declared suitable for use in screen printing skills learning activities at SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya City, especially in transfer paper screen printing material
