KONFLIK BATIN TOKOH CYRIL DALAM FILM DAS SCHÖNSTE MÄDCHEN DER WELT KARYA ARON LEHMANN

THE INNER CONFLICT OF  CYRIL IN THE MOVIE DAS SCHÖNSTE MÄDCHEN DER WELT BY ARON LEHMANN

Film mempunyai unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik yang sama dengan karya sastra pada umumnya. Dengan dasar yang sama seperti karya sastra, dalam film juga terdapat konflik internal dan eksternal dalam susunan ceritanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti konflik batin pada karya sastra yang dialami oleh tokoh Cyril dalam film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt. Cyril yang pemalu untuk mendekati Roxi, memanfaatkan Rick teman satu kelasnya untuk mendekati Roxi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, yang diteliti adalah sebagai berikut : 1) bagaimana struktur konflik batin tokoh Cyril dalam film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt karya Aron Lehmann?, 2) bagaimana penyelesaian konflik batin tokoh Cyril dalam film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt karya Aron Lehmann? Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yang menjelaskan dengan rinci hasil analisis struktur konflik serta bentuk penyelesaian konflik batin tokoh Cyril dalam film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt karya Aron Lehmann. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teori konflik batin dan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Dari analisis dapat disimpulkan, Cyril sering mengalami konflik mendekat-menjauh (approach-avoidance conflict) dan  konflik menjauh- menjauh (avoidance-avoidance conflict) serta ketidakseimbangan Ego yang menyebabkan dirinya mengalami konflik batin atau konflik internal, walaupun begitu dirinya dapat menyelesaikan konflik batin yang dialami.

Film contains of intrinsic and extrinsic approach as the same as the literary work in common. Along with this similarity in literary work, film also has internal and external conflict in its composition of a story. This study aims to research the inner conflict of a literary work which been experienced by Cyril in film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt. Cyril, a prude girl that intended to get near to Roxi, exploits Rick, her classmate, to approach Roxi. Based on that occurence, the investigated cases cover 1) how is the structure of Cyril’s inner conflict in film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt by Aron Lehmann?, 2)  how is Cyril’s inner conflict resolved in film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt by Aron Lehmann?. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which explains in detail the results of the analysis of the conflict structure and the form of inner conflict resolution of Cyril's character in the film Das schönste Mädchen der Welt by Aron Lehmann. The data were analyzed using the theory of inner conflict and Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. From the analysis it can be concluded, Cyril often experiences approach-avoidance conflict and avoidance-avoidance conflict and ego imbalance that causes him to experience inner conflict or internal conflict, even though he can resolve inner conflicts that experienced.
