Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen keuangan sekolah dalam mewujudkan kualitas pendidikan di Pusat Pendidikan Warga Negara Indonesia (PPWNI), Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. PPWNI merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang melayani kebutuhan belajar anak-anak warga negara Indonesia di luar negeri, sehingga memiliki tantangan khusus dalam pengelolaan sumber daya keuangan. Penelitian Ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen terkait manajemen keuangan sekolah.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan di PPWNI dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan yang terstruktur. Strategi utama meliputi penyusunan anggaran berbasis kebutuhan, diversifikasi sumber dana melalui kolaborasi dengan komunitas, dan penerapan prinsip transparansi serta akuntabilitas. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan sumber dana dan ketergantungan pada kontribusi orang tua siswa.
Kesimpulannya, manajemen keuangan yang efektif di PPWNI dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan, seperti penyediaan fasilitas belajar yang memadai, pelatihan guru, dan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kebutuhan lokal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan sistem monitoring keuangan dan penggalangan dana yang lebih inovatif untuk keberlanjutan kualitas pendidikan di PPWNI.

This study aims to analyse school financial management in realising the quality of education at the Indonesian Citizens Education Centre (PPWNI), Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. PPWNI is an educational institution that serves the learning needs of children of Indonesian citizens abroad, so it has special challenges in managing financial resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analyses related to school financial management.
The results showed that financial management at PPWNI is carried out through structured planning, organisation, implementation, and supervision. The main strategies include needs-based budgeting, diversification of funding sources through community collaboration, and the application of transparency and accountability principles. However, the study also identified some constraints, such as limited sources of funds and reliance on parental contributions.
In conclusion, effective financial management at PPWNI contributes significantly to improving the quality of education services, such as the provision of adequate learning facilities, teacher training and local needs-based curriculum development. This research recommends strengthening the financial monitoring system and more innovative fundraising to sustain the quality of education at PPWNI.
