REPRESENTATION OF SOCIAL CONFLICT IN THE FILM GUNDALA: NEGERI INI BUTUH PATRIOT

(Study of Ralf Dahrendorf's Conflict Theory)

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan konflik sosial dan perubahan sosial yang dialami oleh masyarakat dalam film Gundala:Negeri Ini Butuh Patriot karya Joko Anwar. Untuk mengetahui konflik dan perubahan sosial digunakan teori konflik Ralf Dahrendorf. Data yang digunakan berupa kutipan dialog dan adegan yang menggambarkan adanya konflik dan perubahan sosial. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode simak dan catat sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, konflik terjadi karena adanya ketidakadilan yang dilakukan oleh kelompok yang berkuasa sebagai pemegang otoritas terhadap kelompok yang dikuasai. Konflik terjadi antara buruh pabrik dan pemilik pabrik, buruh kebun dan pemilik kebun, pengurus panti dan anak-anak yatim, pedagang dan preman pasar, mafia dan dewan legislatif, serta dewan legislatif dan rakyat. Konflik tersebut memberikan dampak perubahan dalam struktur sosial, yaitu perubahan sebagian personel terjadi dalam konflik antara buruh dan pemilik pabrik, preman dan pedagang pasar, serta mafia dan dewan legislatif. Perubahan keseluruhan personel terjadi dalam konflik antara buruh kebun dan pemilik kebun, pengurus panti dan anak-anak yatim, serta dewan legislatif dan rakyat.

This study aims to describe social conflicts and social changes experienced by the community in the movie Gundala: Negeri Ini Butuh Patriot by Joko Anwar. To find out conflict and social change, Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory is used. The data used are in the form of dialogue quotes and scenes that describe conflicts and social changes in the data sources. The data collection method used is the method of listening and recording, while the method of analysis used is the method of content analysis. The results of this study are, conflict occur because of injustice carried out by the rulling group as the authority holder, against the controlled group. Conflicts occur between workers and factory owners, garden workers and garden owners, caretakers of orphanages and orphans, traders and market thugs, the mafia and the legislative council, legislative councils and the people. The conflict has the impact on changes in the social structure, is a change in some of the personnel occurred in conflicts between workers and factory workers thugs and market traders, the mafia and the legislative council. Changes in the whole personnel occurred in the conflicts between garden workers and garden owners, caretakers of orphanages and orphans, as well the legislative council and the people.
