This study aims to examine the role of Empowerment and Family Welfare Cadres (PKK) in increasing the development and empowerment of human resources (HR) in Sumberagung Village, Kepohbaru District, Bojonegoro Regency. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach.
Data was collected through in-depth interviews with PKK cadres, community members, village government and other related parties. In addition, participatory observation and document analysis are also used as a support in gathering more comprehensive information.
The results of the study show that PKK cadres have a crucial role in the process of developing and empowering human resources in the village. As agents of development, PKK cadres play a role in identifying the needs and aspirations of village communities, as well as formulating development programs in accordance with local potentials and challenges. PKK cadres are also the driving force in implementing these programs, involving the community at every stage and ensuring the active participation of all related parties.
In addition, in the role of facilitator, PKK cadres help organize various training and educational activities to improve the skills and knowledge of the village community. They also act as a mediator who functions as a bridge between the community and related parties, so that human resource development and empowerment programs can run synergistically and sustainably.
The representational role of PKK cadres is also very important in fighting for the interests and rights of village communities at a higher level, such as in village forums and community representation activities. By becoming a voice for the community, PKK cadres can effectively articulate the aspirations and needs of the community, as well as play a role as a partner of the village government in formulating pro-community policies.
In their role as HR empowerment agents, PKK cadres have a strategic role in increasing the capacity and independence of village communities. Through various training and education programs, PKK cadres help improve community skills and knowledge in various fields, such as agriculture, entrepreneurship, health, and the environment. This has a positive impact on improving the quality of life and welfare of the village community as a whole.
In conclusion, this study shows that the role of PKK Cadres is very significant in increasing the development and empowerment of human resources in the village. By becoming facilitators and
agents of empowerment, PKK cadres contribute actively in achieving sustainable development and encourage active community participation in efforts to achieve shared prosperity. Therefore, the role of PKK cadres needs to be continuously strengthened and supported in efforts to achieve inclusive and sustainable development goals at the village level.
