This
research is a research development, namely the development of learning media
with Lectora Inspire to improve the critical thinking skills of class VI
students. This research was carried out based on observations made by
researchers that there were problems in Civics learning, namely Civics material
was only limited to rote material, because that learning tended to be
monotonous and boring. In addition, educators also do not provide opportunities
for students to think divergently and convergently in solving a problem related
to the material being studied. The purpose of this research is to produce
learning media with Lectora Inspire that are valid, practical, and effective,
as well as to improve the critical thinking skills of the student. This type of
research is research and development (R&D) using the 4D model, namely
Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Researchers used a Pre-Experimental
Design in the form of a One-shot Case Study. The subjects of this study were 37
students of class VI B at SDN Wonokusumo VI/45 Surabaya for the 2022/2023
academic year.
Research
produces learning media with a decent Lectora Inspire that meets the criteria
of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In the implementation, the
classical learning mastery was 91.89%. In mastering the articles of the 1945
Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, one meeting is not enough. So
students can repeat the material in Lectora Inspire learning media
independently. Therefore students can use the media wherever and whenever they
want. That the learning media with Lectora Inspire can be used as an
alternative learning media to improve student's critical thinking skills regarding
the material rights and obligations as citizens by the 1945 Constitution of the
Republic of Indonesia.
