Keberagamaan Mahasiswa Alumni Pondok Pesantren di Universitas Negeri Surabaya
The Diversity of Alumni Students of Islamic Boarding Schools at Surabaya State University
Mahasiswa alumni pondok pesantren yang saat ini kuliah di Universitas Negeri Surabaya mengalami perubahan lingkungan. Awalnya mereka berada di pondok pesantren dengan lingkungan agama yang kuat, sementara lingkungan kampus lebih mengarah terhadap kebebasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk perilaku keberagamaan mahasiswa alumni pondok pesantren di Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan untuk mengidentifikasi adaptasi perilaku mahasiswa alumni pondok pesantren di Universitas Negeri Surabaya dalam mempertahankan perilaku keberagamaan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan perspektif teori religiusitas Glock & Stark. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan (Ideologis) mereka masih percaya bahwa islam merupakan agama yang paling benar. Praktek agama (Peribadatan) yang dilakukan yaitu dengan konsisten melaksanakan ibadah wajib, untuk sunnahnya sudah jarang dilaksanakan. Selanjutnya pengalaman (Ekspensial), perasaan merasa tersentuh, tenang, dekat dengan Allah ketika melaksakan ibadah. Untuk pengetahuan agama (Intelektual), pengetahuanya masih sama seperti di pondok pesantren dan lebih terbuka dengan pemahaman baru. Terakhir pengamalan agama (Konseksual), dilakukan dengan hal kecil, mengikuti kegiatan sosial dan menerapkan habluminallah. Adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa alumni pondok pesantren untuk mempertahankan perilaku keberagamaan dengan cara selektif dalam pertemanan, mengikuti organisasi kemahasiswaan, konsisten menerapkan ilmu agama dan menghargai perbedaan.
Islamic boarding school alumni students who are currently studying at Surabaya State University have experienced a change in environment. Initially they were in a boarding school with a strong religious environment, while the campus environment was more oriented towards freedom. This study aims to identify the forms of religious behavior of alumni of Islamic boarding schools at Surabaya State University and to identify adaptations of the behavior of alumni of Islamic boarding schools at Surabaya State University in maintaining their religious behavior. This study uses a qualitative approach with the perspective of Glock & Stark religiosity theory. The results of this study indicate that their (ideological) beliefs still believe that Islam is the truest religion. The practice of religion (Worship) that is carried out is by consistently carrying out obligatory worship, for the sunnah it is rarely carried out. Next is the experience (expertise), the feeling of being touched, calm, close to Allah when carrying out worship. For religious (intellectual) knowledge, the knowledge is still the same as in Islamic boarding schools and is more open to new understandings. Finally, the practice of religion (consexual) is carried out in small ways, participating in social activities and applying habluminallah. Adaptations made by alumni of Islamic boarding schools to maintain religious behavior by being selective in making friends, participating in student organizations, consistently applying religious knowledge and respecting differences.
