Novel orang-orang proyek karya Ahmad Tohari merupakan sebuah yang di dalamnya menceritakan kehidupan para pekerja proyek untuk membangun jembatan desa Cibawor berhak untuk menyuruh para pekerja lantaran mempunyai tanggung jawab besar dalam membangun proyek yang di dalangi oleh Dalkijo yang ,merupakan bendahara GLM (Golongan Lestari menang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini (1) Mendeskripsikan Praktik hegemoni melalui kebudayaan dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek (2) Mendeskripsikan praktik hegemoni melalui kebudayaan dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari. (3) Mendeskripsikan praktik hegemoni melalui ideologi dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad tohari. (4) Mendeskripsikan praktik hegemoni melalui kaum intelektual dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari. (5) Mendeskripsikan praktik hegemoni melalui kepercayaan populer dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari.(6) Mendeskripsikan praktik hegemoni melalui hegemoni dalam sebuah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan mimetik. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan data dalam penelitian ini adalah baca catat.teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskripsi. Sumber data penelitian ini ialah novel Orang-Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah teori hegemoni Gramsci. Teori tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui praktik hegemoni melalui negara, praktik hegemoni melalui kebudayaan, praktik hegemoni melalui ideologi, dan praktik hegemoni melaluli kaum intelektual. Hegemoni melalui hegemoni, hegemoni melalui kepercayaan populer. Praktik hegemoni melalui negara adanya kekuasaan antara pihak penguasa politik GLM untuk membangun sebuah jembatan.
