The Influence of the Tahfidz Program on the Character and Academic Achievement of Students at UNP Laboratory Development High School

Program Tahfidz dalam pemebentukan karakter serta peningkatan prestasi akademik memiliki peran pentinng dalam dunia pendidikan, karenanya program tersebut memberikan bekal bagi siswa untuk mengarungi kehidupan ini. hal tersebut juga menjadi dasar bagi peserta didik untuk melakukan kewajibannya sebagai seorang hamba Allah dan sebagai makhluk sosial agar senantiasa bisa bermanfaat bagi sesama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh program tahfidz terhadap karakter serta prestasi akademik siswa di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP dan seberapa besar prosentae pengaruhnya. Manfaat penelitian ini sebagai bahan masukan lembaga sekolah untuk meningkatkan program tahfidz dan metode pembelajarannya. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah program tahfidz (X), karakter (Y1) dan Prestasi Akademik (Y2). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi 604 siswa dengan 241 sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan rumus product moment yang kemudian dilakukan uji Mann Whitney dan Uji Friedman untuk mengetahui kebenaran hipotesis dan ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dalam program tersebut. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian in adala berdasarkan hasil angket yang disebarkan oleh eneliti kepada 241 siswa diperoleh hasil bahwa adanya pengaruh program tahfidz terhadap karakter dan prestasi akademik siswa di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.

The Tahfidz program in character building and improving academic achievement has an important role in the world of education, because the program provides provisions for students to navigate this life. it is also the basis for students to carry out their obligations as a servant of God and as a social being so that they can always benefit others. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of the tahfidz program on the character and academic achievement of students at UNP Laboratory Development High School and how much the effect is. The benefits of this research are as input for school institutions to improve the tahfidz program and its learning methods. The variables in this study are tahfidz program (X), character (Y1) and academic achievement (Y2). This study is a quantitative study with a population of 604 students with 241 samples. The method of data collection is by means of questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis uses the product moment formula which is then carried out the Mann Whitney test and Friedman Test to determine the truth of the hypothesis and whether or not there is an influence in the program.The conclusion in this study is based on the results of a questionnaire distributed by researchers to 241 students, the results show that there is an influence of the tahfidz program on the character and academic achievement of students at UNP Laboratory Development High School.
