Pengembangan Media Ular Tangga Cerdas Membaca Untuk Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Peserta Didik Kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar
Development Of Smart Reading Snakes And Ladders Media For The Beginning Reading Skills Of 1st Grade Elementary School
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang lancar dalam mengeja kata dan keterbatasan penggunaan media pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi membaca permulaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Ular Tangga Cerdas Membaca untuk keterampilan membaca permulaan materi membaca kata yang diawali suku kata ma,mi,mu,me,mo yang valid, efektif, dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu Analysze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 1 SDN Rangkah VI Surabaya. Pada uji coba skala besar terdapat 27 peserta didik.
Hasil validasi media pada penelitian ini diperoleh persentase 92,7%, hasil validasi materi mendapat persentase 92,3%, dan hasil validasi tes memperoleh persentase 92,5%.. Kepraktisan diperoleh melalui hasil angket peserta didik persentase sebesar 98% dan hasil angket respon guru persentase sebesar 100%. Keefektifan media Ular Tangga Cerdas Membaca didapat dari hasil tes pretest-posttest menunjukkan peningkatan sedang dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,64 pada uji skala besar Bedasarkan hasil dari perolehan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Ular Tangga Cerdas Membaca sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan sangat efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan materi membaca kata yang diawali dengan suku kata ma,mi,mu,me,mo pada peserta didik kelas 1 sekolah dasar.

This research is motivated by the lack of fluency in spelling words and the limited use of media in learning Indonesian language for beginning reading material. The purpose of this study is to produce learning media for Smart Reading Ladder Snakes for early reading skills reading material for words that begin with syllables ma,mi,mu,me,mo that are valid, effective, and practical. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The test subjects of this research were grade 1 students of SDN Rangkah VI Surabaya. In the large-scale trial there were 27 students.
The results of media validation in this study obtained a percentage of 92.7%, the results of material validation got a percentage of 92.3%, and the test validation results obtained a percentage of 92.5%. Practicality is obtained through the results of a questionnaire of students with a percentage of 98% and the results of a teacher response questionnaire with a percentage of 100%. The effectiveness of the Smart Reading Snakes and Ladders media obtained from the pretest-posttest test results showed a moderate increase with an N-Gain value of 0.64 in the large-scale test. Based on the results of these gains, it can be concluded that the Smart Reading Snakes and Ladders Media is very valid, very practical, and very effective to use for learning beginning reading skills reading material that begins with syllables ma,mi,mu,me,mo in grade 1 elementary school students.
