Theoretical Feasibility of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD) "Lumut" Based on Science Literacy to Train Students' Critical Thinking Skills
Perkembangan abad ke-21 memiliki pengaruh yang besar pada bidang pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan suatu kompetensi keterampilan yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis. Berpikir kritis berperan sebagai proses berpikir peserta didik dalam mengambil keputusan yang berdasar pada pertimbangan bukti, permasalahan serta konsep yang berhubungan. Materi lumut merupakan salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran biologi yang terdapat pada KD 3.8 dan 4.8. Berdasarkan KD tersebut, peserta didik dituntut memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, sehingga upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis literasi sains. Literasi sains dapat menfasilitasi keterampilan berpikir kritis, ditunjukkan kesesuaian antara kompetensi literasi sains dan indikator berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kelayakan teoretis LKPD “Lumut” berbasis literasi sains untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian termasuk penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri atas tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate.Tahap define, design dan develop dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2019-Maret 2020. Kelayakan teoretis ditentukan pada tahap develop berdasarkan penilaian validasi ahli botani dan ahli pendidikan. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian validasi LKPD mencakup aspek konstruksi, teknis dan didaktik. Data dianalisis secara deskripstif kuantitatif, LKPD dinyatakan layak apabila hasil validasi mencapai ≥ 61%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan aspek konstruksi sebesar 95,74%, aspek teknis sebesar 97,23% dan aspek didaktik sebesar 97,23%, sehingga secara keseluruhan validitas LKPD sebesar 97,23% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian LKPD “Lumut” berbasis literasi sains dinyatakan layak secara teoretis untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, sehingga LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir analisis, interpretasi, inferensi, eksplanasi dan evaluasi yang mudah diakses baik oleh guru maupun peserta didik.

The development of the 21st century has a great influence on the field of education, so we need a skill competency, namely critical thinking skills. Critical thinking plays a role as the thinking process of students in making decisions based on consideration of evidence, related problems and concepts. Moss material is one of the materials in biology learning contained in KD 3.8 and 4.8. Based on these basic competencies, students are required to have critical thinking skills, so that efforts that can be made are to develop scientific literacy-based LKPD. Science literacy can facilitate critical thinking skills, it is shown the suitability between scientific literacy competencies and indicators of critical thinking. This study aims to determine the theoretical feasibility of LKPD "Lumut" based on scientific literacy to train students' critical thinking skills. This type of research includes development research using the 4D model which consists of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The define, design and develop stages are carried out in November 2019-March 2020. Theoretical feasibility is determined at the develop stage based on the validation assessment of botanists and educational experts .The research instrument in the form of a LKPD validation assessment sheet includes construction, technical and didactic aspects. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively, LKPD was declared feasible if the validation results reached ≥ 61%. The results showed that the feasibility of the construction aspect was 95.74%, the technical aspect was 97.23% and the didactic aspect was 97.23%, so that the overall validity of the LKPD was 97.23% with the very feasible category. Thus LKPD "Lumut" based on scientific literacy is declared theoretically feasible to practice critical thinking skills, so that the developed LKPD can be used as an alternative source of learning to train analytical thinking skills, interpretation, inference, explanation and evaluation that are easily accessible to both teachers and participants student.
