PRINCIPLES OF COOPERATION AND CONVERSATIONAL IMPLICATURES

 “TALKING WONDERLAND INDONESIA, THE INTRIGUE OF THE SAMBO CASE, AND THE COMPLEXITY OF THE RKHUP | DISCUSSION"

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan prinsip kerja sama yakni pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dengan pengelompokan empat maksim, serta implikatur percakapan yang muncul akibat pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dianalisis menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual subjenis padan pragmatis dengan teknik lanjutan Hubung Banding Memperbandingkan (HBB). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks youtube Najwa Shihab “Ngobrolin Wonderland Indonesia, Intrik Kasus Sambo, Peliknya RKHUP | Musyawarah” yang terbagi menjadi empat segmen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi, teknik simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC), dan teknik catat. Berdasarkan penganalisisan data, ditemukan beberapa penerapan prinsip kerja sama yang dipatuhi dan dilanggar, serta implikatur percakapan yang muncul akibat tuturan yang melanggar prinsip kerja sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ditemukan lebih banyak pematuhan maksim kualitas dikarenakan program Musyawarah dalam teks Youtube Najwa Shihab “Ngobrolin Wonderland Indonesia, Intrik Kasus Sambo, Peliknya RKHUP | Musyawarah” bertujuan memberikan informasi yang faktual dan aktual kepada masyarakat, sehingga perlunya pemaparan informasi yang sesuai dengan kebenaran dan prinsip kerja sama yang dilanggar didominasi oleh maksim kuantitas karena seringnya pemandu acara memberikan informasi berlebihan yang tidak dibutuhkan lawan bicaranya, serta banyaknya implikatur percakapan dengan kategori menyindir akibat pemandu acara ingin mengujarkan sesuatu secara implisit kepada lawan tutur atau seseorang yang sedang dibicarakan.

This study aims to describe the application of cooperative principles, namely compliance and violation of cooperative principles, by grouping the four maxims, as well as conversational implicatures that arise as a result of violations of cooperative principles. This research is a descriptive qualitative study that was analyzed using the extralingual equivalent method, subtypes of pragmatic equivalent, with the advanced technique of Comparing Comparison (HBB). The data source for this research is Najwa Shihab's YouTube text “Talking Wonderland Indonesia, The Intrigue of the Sambo Case, the Complexity of the RKHUP | Deliberation” which is divided into four segments. The data-collection techniques used in this study were documentation techniques, listening techniques with basic tapping techniques, advanced techniques for Listening Freely Libat Cakap (SBLC), and note-taking techniques. Based on the data analysis, it was found that several applications of cooperative principles complied with and were violated, as well as conversational implicatures that arose as a result of utterances that violated the cooperative principle. Based on the results of this study, it was found that greater adherence to the maxim of quality was due to the Deliberation program in Najwa Shihab's YouTube text “Talking Wonderland Indonesia, The Intrigue of the Sambo Case, the Complexity of the RKHUP | Deliberation’ aims to provide factual and actual information to the public, so that the need for information presentation in accordance with the truth and the principle of cooperation that is violated is dominated by the maxim of quantity because the event guide often provides excessive information that is not needed by the interlocutor, as well as the many conversational implicatures with the satirical category. Consequently, the host wants to implicitly say something to another person or someone being discussed.
