PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PEMBUATAN LOGO MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI IBIS PAINT
UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK SMAN 14 SURABAYA
VIDEO DEVELOPMENT AS A LEARNING MEDIA FOR LOGO CREATION USING IBIS PAINT APPLICATION FOR STUDENTS OF SMAN 14 SURABAYA
SMAN 14 Surabaya sekolah yang menerapkan pembelajaran seni rupa hanya di kelas XI. Di kelas XII diadakan ujian praktek seni musik yaitu kolaborasi antara seni musik dan seni lainnya secara berkelompok. Hal ini dapat berpeluang untuk memberikan pembelajaran seni rupa berupa logo sebagai identitas setiap kelompok. Karena pembelajaran seni rupa yang terbatas, penggunaan video pembelajaran menjadi pilihan yang baik agar dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun.
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep, proses, uji coba, serta respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap video pembelajaran pembuatan logo dengan aplikasi Ibis Paint di SMAN 14 Surabaya.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, pengisian angket, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian uji coba yakni 25 peserta didik kelas XII-8 SMAN 14 Surabaya. Teknik validitas data dengan pengujian kelayakan produk berupa video oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta uji coba produk kepada peserta didik.
Konsep pengembangan video yaitu 8 video, video 1 – 4 tentang materi logo, video 5 – 6 tentang Ibis Paint, video 7 – 8 tentang pembuatan logo. Setiap video memiliki waktu sekitar 30 detik – 1,5 menit. Video – video tersebut diunggah di aplikasi Instagram.
Proses pengembangan video yang telah melewati tahap rekaman dan editing, lalu divalidasi oleh para validator dengan nilai persentase dari ahli materi yaitu 92% dan ahli media 94,2% memiliki kesamaan diangka 5 dan keterangan sangat baik, sehingga dapat dilanjutkan uji coba produk.
Uji coba produk berupa video kepada 25 peserta didik kelas XII-8 SMAN 14 Surabaya dilakukan pada Senin, 16 Desember 2024. Peserta didik membuat karya berupa logo, kemudian mengisi angket respon terhadap media pembelajaran berupa video. Penilaian hasil karya nilai persentase 93,6% keterangan sangat baik, setelah itu peneliti merevisi dari komentar dan saran yang diberikan. Untuk angket respon peserta didik dengan nilai persentase 94,4%, sehingga video pembelajaran layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap produk yaitu video menarik, unik, dan mudah dipahami. Pada khalayak umum didapati video 1 views 2.120 likes 107, comments 42, dan share 10; Video 2 views 697, likes 62, comments 19, share 1; Video 3 views 2.336, likes 89, comments 14, share 9; Video 4 views 823, likes 61, comments 12, share 1; Video 5 views 603, likes 29, comments 12, share 2; Video 6 views 525, likes 40, comments 14, share 1; Video 7 views 470, likes 40, comments 14, share 1; Video 8 views 1.653, likes 47, comments 9, share 4.

SMAN 14 Surabaya is a scholl that applies fine arts learning only in 11th grade. In 12th grade, practical music exam is held, the theme is collaboration between music and other art forms in a group projects. This opportunity is to provide fine art lessons on logo design as a group identity. Due to the limited time of fine art lessons, learning videos becomes a good option, these can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept, process, trial, responses from teachers and students of learning videos for logo creation using Ibis Paint application at SMAN 14 Surabaya.
The research method used in this research is Research and Development with ADDIE model. Data collection include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The subject for the trial are 25 students from 12-8th grade at SMAN 14 Surabaya. Data validity techniques include product feasibility testing of the video by material experts and media experts, as well as product trials with students.
The concept of video development consists 8 videos, 1st – 4th videos are about logo material, 5th – 6th videos are about Ibis Paint, 7th – 8th videos are about logo creation. Each video has a duration of approximately 30 seconds to 1,5 minutes. These videos are uploaded at Instagram application.
The video development process, which has passed through the recording and editing, then validated by validators. The percentage score from material experts was 92%, media experts was 94,2%, both are in the same number at 5 and categorized as “very good”, allowing the product trial to proceed.
Product trial in the form of videos to 25 students from 12-8th grade at SMAN 14 Surabaya on Monday, December 16th, 2024. The students created a logo and then filled out the questionnaire to provide feedback to the learning media in the form of videos. Percentage score of the assessment of work 93,6% categorized as “very good”. Afterward, the researcher revises the video based on the feedback provided. The response questionnaire scored 94,4% indicating learning video is deemed suitable for use as a teaching media in learning process.
The responses from teacher and students toward the product were very positive, as evidenced by interactions with the videos such as likes and comments.
