Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat dan model pembelajaran yang layak dan model pembelajaran Direct-Contextual yang layak serta efektif pada pembelajaran Fiqih di pesantren Muadalah pola Muallimin.
Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan Dick & Carey pada siswa kelas lima Kulliyatul Muallimin al-Islamiyah di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Untuk menguji kelayakan model pembelajaran dan perangkat pembelajaran dilakukan validasi oleh ahli. Sedangkan untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran dilakukan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangakat pembelajaran layak; (2) model pembelajaran Direct-Contextual pada pembelajaran Fikih layak; dan (3) model Direct-Contextual pada pembelajaran Fiqh efektif berdasarkan hasil uji Mann-Whitney di mana nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, memiliki kesesuaian pada pembelajaran Fikih perbandingan di pesantren modern dengan pola muallimin.
Hasil penelitian ini kiranya dapat dideseminasikan melalui bedah buku, seminar dalam kegiatan bahtsul masai’l di pondok pesantren. Penerapan model pembelajaran Direct-Contextual terbatas hanya pada pembelajaran Fikih perbandingan di pesantren modern, maka peniliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat disempurnakan sehingga dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran Fikih di pesantren pada umumnya.
This research aimed to investigate to what extent is it feasible and effective to implement a direct-contextual learning model into the Fiqh learning process at “muadalah boarding schools” which adopt the “muallimin” system.
The research applied Dick & Carey’s development model to year five students of ITTC (Islamic Teacher Training College) at Gontor, from which data was collected through questionnaires and from the students’ exam results. Experts also conducted a series of validity tests in order to test the feasibility of the proposed learning model and its apparatus. The researcher also employed the Mann-Whitney test to measure the effectiveness of the model.
Results showed that (1) learning instrument could be feasibility implemented; (2) direct-contextual learning model could be feasibly implemented within the Fiqh learning process; and (3) that the model was effective, as shown by the Mann-Whitney test, where the significant value (2-tailed) was 0.000 which was less than the 0.05 limit—showing a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, feasible to implement into Fiqh learning process at modern boarding schools which adopt the “muallimin” system.
Based on that finding, the researcher suggested that the learning model should be widely disseminated through book reviews and seminars, particularly at boarding schools in “bahsul masa’il” program. Furthermore, this teaching model is feasible to implement into Fiqh learing process at limited modern boarding school, the researcher suggested that the research should be refined and expanded by future research.
