ANALYSIS OF VIOLIN II PLAYING TECHNIQUES ON THE SONG CONCERTO FOR TWO VIOLINS IN D MINOR, 1st MOVEMENT BY J.S. BACH
Penelitian ini membahas tentang teknik permainan violin yaitu teknik bowing dan teknik fingering lagu Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement karya J.S. Bach. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan teknik permainan violin II pada Lagu Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement karya J.S. Bach. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitian ini yaitu lagu Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement karya J.S. Bach. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Sementara itu, terdapat uji keabsahan data dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada karya komposisi Concerto For Two Violins terbagi menjadi 3 bagian (Movement). Bagian pertama tempo yang digunakan adalah Vivace, bagian kedua menggunakan tempo Largo ma non tanto, dan bagian ketiga menggunakan tempo Allegro. Teknik Bowwing yang digunakan pada lagu Concerto For Two Violins adalah teknik staccato, legato, legatura, tenuto, dan accent. Sedangkan teknik Fingering yang digunakan adalah teknik trill, vibrato dan menggunakan teknik posisi 1, 2, dan posisi 3. Teknik yang paling menonjol adalah teknik staccato dan legato. Sementara itu, terdapat banyak tanda ekspresi dinamika yang digunakan pada repertoar ini diantaranya adalah diminuendo, poco dim, ritardo, vermata, forte (f), mezzo forte (ff), crescendo (<), decrescendo (>), piano (p), pianissimo (pp), dan mezzo piano (mp).
This study discusses the violin playing technique, namely the bowing technique and the fingering technique of the song Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement by J.S. Bach. This study aims to describe the technique of playing violin II in the song Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement by J.S. Bach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data obtained in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of this research is the song Concerto For Two Violins in D minor 1st Movement by J.S. Bach. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. Meanwhile, there is a data validity test using triangulation technique. The results showed that the composition of the Concerto For Two Violins was divided into 3 parts (Movement). The first part of the tempo used is Vivace, the second part uses the Largo ma non tanto tempo, and the third part uses the Allegro tempo. Bowwing technique used in the song Concerto For Two Violins is staccato, legato, legatura, tenuto, and accent techniques. While the Fingering technique used is the trill technique, vibrato and uses the position 1, 2, and position 3 techniques. The most prominent techniques are the staccato and legato techniques. Meanwhile, there are many signs of dynamic expression used in this repertoire, including diminuendo, poco dim, ritardo, vermata, forte (f), mezzo forte (ff), crescendo (<), decrescendo (>), piano (p), pianissimo (pp), and mezzo piano (mp).
