Learning Methods At The Pesinauan Traditional School Olehsari Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency
This thesis examines the learning methods applied in the Pesinauan Traditional School, located in Olehsari Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. The study aims to identify the instructional approaches implemented and describe their outcomes in preserving the cultural heritage of the Osing indigenous community.The research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology, collecting data through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data were analyzed using techniques of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation for validation.The findings highlight that the learning methods in Pesinauan are designed to engage and motivate students. The curriculum encompasses various aspects of Osing customs and traditions, appealing not only to the younger generation within the community but also to external audiences interested in Osing culture. The educational practices at Pesinauan play a pivotal role in safeguarding and perpetuating Osing traditions, enabling students to both understand and actively apply cultural values in daily life. The study underscores the importance of such initiatives in reinforcing the Osing identity and expanding the recognition of their culture on a global scale.
