APPLICATION OF ECOPRINT USING POUNDING TECHNIQUES IN SANGGAR ALANG-ALANG CHILDREN, SURABAYA.
Abstract
Sanggar Alang-Alang adalah sanggar yang didirikan untuk anak jalanan. Di sanggar ini anak jalanan mendapatkan pendidikan non formal. Berkesenian adalah hal yang sering dilakukan. Untuk menambah pengetahuan baru peneliti ingin menerapkan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding pada anak Sanggar Alang-Alang yang belum pernah dipelajari sebelumnya. Penelitian dengan judul “Penerapan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding pada anak Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya.” merupakan studi kualitatif terhadap data yang diperoleh dari hasil penerapan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding dan penilaian karya yang dihasilkan oleh anak Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian diperoleh 4 aspek penilaian yaitu penilaian bentuk dan warna yang akan dikomposisikan, konsistensi ketika melakukan teknik pounding, kerapian, dan kreativitas. Dari 4 aspek penilaian tersebut diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata 95,6% sesuai dengan rentang persentase menurut Sugiyono yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya, jika nilai persentase masuk dalam kategori antara 81% sampai 100% maka penerapan tersebut dikategorikan berhasil, yang artinya karena mendapat nilai 95,6% penerapan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding ini telah berhasil diterapkan dengan kategori sangat layak dan dapat diterapkan lagi di kemudian hari pada anak Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya.

Sanggar Alang-Alang is a studio established for street children. In this studio, street children receive non-formal education. Art is something that is often done. To add to the new knowledge, the researchers wanted to apply ecoprint using the pounding technique on Sanggar Alang-Alang children who had never been studied before. The research with the title "The application of ecoprint using the pounding technique in the children of Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya." is a qualitative study of data obtained from the application of ecoprint using the pounding technique and the assessment of the work produced by the children of Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya. Based on the data collection carried out in the study, 4 aspects of the assessment were obtained, namely the assessment of the shape and color to be composed, consistency when performing pounding techniques, neatness, and creativity. From the 4 aspects of the assessment, the results obtained an average value of 95.6% in accordance with the percentage range according to Sugiyono which has been previously explained, if the percentage value falls into the category between 81% to 100% then the application is categorized as successful, which means that because it gets a score of 95 6% of the ecoprint application using the pounding technique has been successfully applied in the very feasible category and can be applied again in the future to the children of Sanggar Alang-Alang, Surabaya.
