KONFLIK SOSIAL DALAM FILM KOMANG KARYA NAYA ANINDITA: PERSPEKTIF LEWIS A. COSER
SOCIAL CONFLICT IN THE FILM KOMANG BY NAYA ANINDITA: PERSPECTIVE OF LEWIS A. COSER
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk konflik sosial dalam film Komang karya Naya Anindita perspektif Lewis A. Coser yang meliputi bentuk konflik sosial realistis, konflik sosial non-realistis, dan fungsi positif konflik sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah film Komang karya Naya Anindita. Data berupa kutipan dialog, kalimat, paragraf, disertai gambar yang memuat adanya konflik sosial realistis, konflik sosial non-realistis, dan fungsi positif konflik sosial. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak, baca, catat dengan pengkodean serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis model Miles dan Huberman. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas ketekunan dengan diskusi rekan sejawat.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya (1) konflik sosial realistis, konflik yang ada berupa perbedaan agama; kurangnya perhatian pasangan; ketidakpastian dan ekspektasi hubungan, (2) konflik non-realistis yang ada berupa perasaan tersinggung; trauma masa lalu; kecemburuan, (dan (3) fungsi positif konflik sosial yang ada berupa toleransi keberagaman, semangat meraih cita-cita, menghargai, menghormati, dan menjunjung tinggi solidaritas.

This research aims to describe the forms of social conflict found in the film Komang by Naya Anindita, using Lewis A. Coser’s perspective, which includes realistic social conflict, non-realistic social conflict, and the positive functions of social conflict. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a sociological approach to literature. The primary data source is the film Komang directed by Naya Anindita. The data are presented in the form of sentences, paragraphs, and quoted dialogues accompanied by images that depict realistic social conflicts, non-realistic social conflicts, in-group conflicts, out-group conflicts, and the positive functions of social conflict. Data collection techniques include observation, reading, note-taking and coding, and the data are analyzed using miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The data credibility in this study was ensured through prolonged engagement and peer debriefing with research colleagues.
The results of the study show that: (1) realistic social conflicts include religious differences, lack of attention between partners, and uncertainty in relationships; (2) non-realistic social conflicts include feelings of offense, past trauma, and jealousy; and (5) the positive functions of social conflict include tolerance for diversity, enthusiasm for achieving dreams, respect and appreciation for fellow human beings, and upholding solidarity.
