Implementation Of Mathematics Learning Activity Design Using Volleyball Game Context In Elementary School
Pembelajaran matematika memiliki keterkaitan dengan pendekatan realistik yang memungkinkan suatu materi dapat dipelajari dengan konteks yang berkaitan langsung dengan keseharian siswa. Namun perlunya penerapan kegiatan pembelajaran ini tidak searah dengan hasil studi yang lakukan di SDN Curahmalang II Jombang, siswa kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perhitungan, dan memahami bacaan matematis (sajian data). Oleh karena itu diperlukan inovasi dalam pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika dengan memanfaatkan konteks yang dekat dengan keseharian siswa. Penelitian ini berusaha mengeksplorasi konsep matematika dengan materi pengumpulan dan penyajian data melalui konteks permainan bola voli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Exploraritory dan Design Research. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, LKPD, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah klub bola voli Agaga, dan Pelatih, serta 12 siswa kelas 5B pada tahap pilot exsperimen dan seluruh siswa kelas 5A pada tahap teaching exsperimen. Hasil eksplorasi yang didapat antara lain seperti (1) Konsep bangun datar dan bangun ruang muncul pada benda-benda yang digunakan dalam permainan, seperti lapangan, bola, net. (2) Konsep Sudut yang muncul pada saat posisi lengan penain saat melakukan servis. (3) pengumpulan dan penyajian data ditemukan pada saat pertambahan/perhitungan skor tim saat tim berhasil mencetak poin. (4) Konsep Peluang muncul saat pemain berhasil atau melakukan kesalahan dalam melakukan teknik permainan saat pertandingan berlangsung. Sedangkan hasil implementasi penelitian ini berupa implementasi desain aktivitas pembelajaran matematika dengan konteks permainan bola voli pada siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar.

Mathematics learning is related to a realistic approach that allows a material to be learned in a context that is directly related to students' daily lives. This context can be a volleyball game. The need for the implementation of this learning activity is not in line with the results of the study conducted at SDN Curahmalang II Jombang, students have difficulty in understanding calculation concepts, such as multiplication, division, and understanding mathematical readings (data presentation). Therefore, innovation is needed in the development of mathematics learning activities by utilizing contexts that are close to students' daily lives. This study attempts to explore the concept of mathematics with data collection and presentation materials through the context of volleyball games. This research is a qualitative research with an Exploratory and Design Research approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, LKPD, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the Agaga volleyball club, and the Coach, as well as 12 students of class 5B in the pilot experiment stage and all students of class 5A in the teaching experiment stage. The results of the exploration obtained include (1) The concept of flat and spatial shapes appears in objects used in the game, such as the field, ball, net. (2) The concept of Angle that appears when the position of the player's arm when serving. (3) data collection and presentation were found when the team's score was added/calculated when the team managed to score points. (4) The concept of Opportunity appears when the player succeeds or makes a mistake in performing the game technique during the match. While the results of the implementation of this study are in the form of the implementation of the design of mathematics learning activities with the context of volleyball games for 5th grade elementary school students.
