Anak jalanan adalah anak yang sebagian besar waktunya dijalanan untuk bekerja, atau melakukan kegiatan lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak jalanan dan pendamping dari anak jalanan di UPTD LIPONSOS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik indept interview observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan konsep Habitus dari Pierre Bourdieu. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa anak jalanan membutuhkan suatu proses untuk dapat membentuk habituasi barunya. Proses pembentukan anak jalanan di UPTD Liponsos dilakukan melalui diberikannya beberapa macam aktifitas oleh pihak pendamping. Aktifitas tersebut tidak hanya diberikan tanpa tujuan, melainkan aktifitas yang diberikan mempunyai masing-masing nilai . Nilai yang dimaksud antara lain nilai kreatif nilai peduli lingkungan nilai kedisiplinan dan nilai social. Hasil tersebut selaras dengan konsep Habitus dari Pierre Bourdieu . Bourdieu mengatakan proses pembentukan habituasi baru anak jalanan dapat tercipta melalui proses sosialisasi nilai yang lama sehingga dapat mengendap menjadi pola berpikir dan berperilaku.

Street children are children who spend most of their time on the streets working, or doing other activities. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were street children and companions of street children in UPTD LIPONSOS. Data collection techniques using indept interviews observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the concept of Habitus from Pierre Bourdieu. The results of this study indicate that street children need a process to be able to form their new habituation. The process of forming street children in UPTD Liponsos is done through the provision of a number of activities by the assistants. These activities are not only given without purpose, but the activities provided have each value. The intended value includes the creative value of caring for the environment the value of discipline and social value. These results are in line with the Habitus concept of Pierre Bourdieu. Bourdieu said that the process of forming new habituation of street children can be created through the process of socializing old values ​​so that they can settle into thinking and behaving patterns.
