This
research begin from decreasing the learning outcomes of the Science in thematic
at the fifth grade of Nguruhan 01 Elementary School in Soko District, Tuban
Regency. So the solution is needed to treat the problem using an entertaining
and more effective learning model which acquaintance the subject with events,
thoughts or feelings obtained from the students' experience.
Based
on the problems faced and the descriptions that have been explained, this study
aims to describe how the activities of teachers and students, learning outcomescontent,
and how to overcome obstacles by applying a quantum teaching learning model to
be able to improve learning outcomes of fifth grade.
The
research used is classroom action research. This research using 2 cycles, the
stages are planning, implementing and observing, and reflecting. The location
of researche in fifth grade students of SDN Nguruhan 01, Soko District, Tuban
Regency. And the subject is student fiftht grade. The research data were
analyzed using quantitative descriptive.
The
results of this research showed that increasing of teacher activity from the
first cycle is 77.9 to 91,9 in the second cycle, the completeness of classical
learning students in the first cycle is 72.73 to 81.82 in the second cycle, and
then the problems occurred when applying the quantum teaching model in the
first cycle, which is less significant learning outcomes, students less
attention the subject teacher explained, management of groups have not been
organized, and classrooms control when the material delivery were still
difficulty. After reflection and evaluation are carried out that in the second cycle
the learning process by applying the quantum teaching model can be overcome.
This
study can be concluded that the application of the quantum teaching model can
improve or increasing learning activities and learning outcomes, especially the
science subject in fifth grade students of SDN Nguruhan 01, Soko District,
Tuban Regency.
