PENGEMBANGAN RANCANGAN GEDUNG MASJID BAITUL MAKMUR UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA KAMPUS LIDAH WETAN

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT OF THE BAITUL MAKMUR MOSQUE BUILDING SURABAYA STATE UNIVERSITY LIDAH WETAN CAMPUS

Abstrak

Masjid Baitul Makmur merupakan bangunan keagamaan yang berada di Universitas Negeri Surabaya kampus Lidah Wetan. Masjid Baitul Makmur memiliki daya tampung sebesar 500 orang, yang berarti hanya bisa menampung sebesar 2% dari total civitas akademik Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Kapasitas tersebut berada dibawah kapasitas rata – rata untuk masjid universitas yaitu sebesar 8% dari total civitas akademik. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka makalah ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan rancangan Gedung Masjid Baitul Makmur Universitas Negeri Surabaya Kampus Lidah Wetan dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas civitas akademik. Metode deskriptif – kuantitatif, digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, studi literatur, dan analisis data kuantitatif. Dari hasil pengembangan rancangan diketahui kebutuhan ruang sholat untuk kapasitas pengguna sebanyak 2510 adalah sebesar 1.913 m²  dengan perencanaan tata ruang lantai 1 seluas 648 m² untuk kapasitas pengguna 878 pengguna, lantai 2 seluas 648 m² untuk 878 pengguna, dan lantai 3 seluas 617 m² untuk kapasitas pengguna 753. Pada perhitungan preliminary struktur didapatkan dimensi dari elemen struktur sebagai berikut : Balok induk (B1) = 300/600 mm, balok induk (B2) = 250/450 mm, balok anak (BA) = 200/250 mm, pelat atap (S1) = 120 mm, pelat lantai (S2) = 120 mm, kolom (K1) = 450/450 mm, kolom (K2) = 300/300 mm.

Abstract

Baitul Makmur Mosque is a religious building located at the State University of Surabaya, on Lidah Wetan campus. Baitul Makmur Mosque has a capacity of 500 people, only accommodate 2% of the total academic community of the State University of Surabaya. This capacity is below the average capacity for university mosques, which is 8% of the total academic community. Based on this background, this paper aims to develop the design of the Baitul Makmur Mosque Building, Surabaya State University, Lidah Wetan Campus by considering the capacity of the academic community. The method used is "descriptive – quantitative method" with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation, literature study, and quantitative data analysis. From the results of the design development, it is known that the prayer room needs for a user capacity of 2510 is 1.913 m² with a spatial planning of the 1st floor covering an area of 648 m² for a user capacity of 878 users, the 2nd floor covering an area of 648 m² for 878 users, and the 3rd floor covering an area of 617 m² for a capacity of 753 users. In the preliminary structural calculations, the dimensions of the structural elements are obtained as follows: Main beam (B1) = 300/600 mm, main beam (B2) = 250/450 mm, subsidiary beam (BA) = 200/250 mm, roof slab (S1) = 120 mm, floor slab (S2) = 120 mm, column (K1) = 450/450 mm, column (K2) = 300/300 mm.
