MITOS-MITOS DI PULAU BAWEAN KABUPATEN GRESIK (Kajian Strukturalisme Levi-Strauss)

MYTHS IN BAWEAN ISLAND, GRESIK REGENCY (Study of Structuralism Levi-Strauss)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktus mitos Waliya Zaenab dan MalejerTekos di Pulau Bawean Kabupaten Gresik dengan teori Strukturalisme Naratif Levi-Strauss. Data dari penelitian ini berasal dari informan yang ada di Pulau Bawean. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah miteme, episode, oposisi biner, serta nilai dari mitos Waliya Zaenab dan Malejer Tekos di Pulau Bawean. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, perekaman, pencatatan, dan dokumentasi.

Hasil penelitian menjelaskan isi mitos yg terkait dengan struktur Levi straus tentang mitos-mitos di Pulau Bawean Kabupaten Gresik yang terdiri atas (a) 11 miteme pada mitos Waliya Zainab dan 14 miteme pada mitos MalajerTekos, (b) 4 episode pada mitos Waliya Zainab dan 6 episode pada mitos MalejerTekos, (c) 3 oposisi biner pada mitos Waliya Zainab dan mitos MalajerTekos, serta (d) 4 nilai pada mitos Waliya Zainab dan 2 nilai pada mitos Malajer Tekos.

This study aims to determine the mythical structure of Waliya Zaenab and MalejerTekos on Bawean Island, Gresik with the Levi-Strauss Narrative Structuralism theory. The data from this study came from informants in Bawean Island. The data used for this research are myths, episodes, binary oppositions, and the value of the myths of Waliya Zaenab and Malejer Tekos on Bawean Island. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used observation, interview, recording, recording, and documentation techniques.

The results of the study explain the content of myths related to the structure of Levi Straus about the myths on Bawean Island, Gresik which consists of (a) 11 myths in the Waliya Zainab myth and 14 myths in the MalajerTekos myth, (b) 4 episodes in the Waliya Zainab myth and 6 episodes on the myth of MalejerTekos, (c) 3 binary oppositions on the myth of Waliya Zainab and the myth of MalajerTekos, and (d) 4 values ​​on the myth of Waliya Zainab and 2 values ​​on the myth of Malajer Tekos.
