Construction of the Blumbungan Market Community Regarding the Implementation of Health Protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Penelitian ini membahas konstruksi sosial masyarakat pasar Blumbungan terkait penerepan protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi. Identifikasi proses penerimaan dan penolakan yang diberikan masyarakat serta apa yang melatarbelakanginya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan perspektif teori konstruksi sosial Peter L Berger. Penelitian ini dilakukan di pasar Blumbungan, Desa Blumbungan, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kesadaran masyarkaat pasar Blumbungan dalam mernerapkan protokol kesehatan belum terbangun dengan baik. Sebagian besar masyarakat menujukan penolakan dengan kebijakan protokol kesehatan dengan tidak megggunakan masker dan tidak mematuhi 5M yang telah disosialisasikan. Alasan penolakan tersebut dikarenakan masyarakat menganggap covid-19 adalah penyakit biasa yang tidak perlu dikawatirkan, masyarakat lebih mempercayai berita negatif terkait covid-19, memasrahkan segala sesuatu dengan agama, dan lebih mementingkan faktor ekonomi daripada kesehatan

This study discusses the social construction of the Blumbungan market community regarding the implementation of health protocols during a pandemic. Identify the process of acceptance and rejection given by the community and what lies behind it. This study uses a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach with the perspective of Peter L Berger's social construction theory. This research was conducted at the Blumbungan market, Blumbungan Village, Pamekasan Regency. The results of this study indicate that the awareness of the Blumbungan market community in implementing health protocols has not been well developed. Most of the people rejected the health protocol policy by not using masks and not complying with the socialized 5M. The reason for the rejection is because people think that Covid-19 is a common disease that doesn't need to be worried about, people believe more negative news related to Covid-19, give up everything with religion, and are more concerned with economic factors than health
