Development of E-Book on Home Appliance Subject for Grade XI TITL Students of SMK Negeri 1 Kediri
Perkembangan pesat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa dampak signifikan di berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya melalui pengembangan media dan sumber belajar yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa e-book pada mata pelajaran Home Appliance bagi siswa kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 1 Kediri, serta mengukur efektivitas, kepraktisan, dan kelayakan media tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TITL 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-book mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 78%. Kelayakan media berdasarkan hasil uji dari validator memperoleh skor 86,3% yang dikategorikan sangat layak, sedangkan validasi oleh ahli mendapatkan nilai 81,6% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa e-book sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Home Appliance efektif dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran.
The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various fields, including education. The use of technology in learning is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education, especially through the development of innovative media and learning resources. This study aims to develop digital learning media in the form of e-books on Home Appliance subjects for class XI TITL students at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri, and to measure the effectiveness, practicality, and feasibility of the media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The subjects of the study were class XI TITL 3 students. The results of the study showed that the use of e-books was able to significantly improve student learning outcomes, with an average increase of 78%. The feasibility of the media based on the test results from the validator obtained a score of 86.3% which was categorized as very feasible, while validation by experts obtained a score of 81.6% and was included in the very valid category. These findings indicate that e-books as a learning medium for Home Appliance material are effective in supporting the learning process.
