Pengembangan Media Komik Digital Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda IPA Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
The Development of Digital Comic Media on Change of States in Materials Science Objects for Grade V Elementary School
Permasalahan yang dihadapi guru dan siswa selama pandemi ini sangat beragam, salah satunya penerapan sekolah online membuat pembelajaran IPA tidak dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran secara langsung, maka peneliti mencetuskan ide untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan media komik digital materi perubahan wujud benda IPA kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan Model Borg and Gall namun dimodifikasi peneliti menjadi 7 langkah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen validasi materi, media, angket kepraktisan serta test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan validasi materi mendapat presentase 90% yang sesuasi dengan kriteria “Valid”, validasi media mendapat presentase 84% yang sesuai dengan kriteria “Valid”, kepraktisan media didapat dari angket guru dan siswa mendapatkan presentase 94,6% yang sesuai dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis”, dan keefektifan media didapat dari hasil tes siswa yang menunjukkan seluruhnya mengalami peningkatan nilai sehingga mendapat presentase 100% yang sesuai dengan kriteria “Sangat Efektif”. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik digital materi perubahan wujud benda IPA kelas V sekolah dasar valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

The problems faced by teachers and students during this pandemic are very diverse, one of which is that the implementation of online schools makes science learning unable to use directly learning media. So that the researchers sparked an idea to develop digital-based comic learning media. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of digital comic media about science on chapter Change of Matter grade V elementary school. The method used in this research is the development with the Borg and Gall Model, but the researchers modified it into 7 steps. Data collection techniques in this study used a media and material validation instrument, practicality questionnaires and test. The results showed that the material validation got a percentage of 90% according to the "Valid" criteria, the media validation got a percentage of 84% according to the "Valid" criteria, the practicality of the media was obtained from the teacher's and student's questionnaire got a 94.6% percentage that matched the criteria " Very Practical ", and the effectiveness of the media is obtained from the results of student tests which show that all of them have increased in value so that they get a 100% percentage in accordance with the" Very Effective "criteria. From the results of these studies, it can be concluded that digital comic media about science on chapter Change of Matter grade V elementary school is valid, practical and effective to use as a learning media.
