Representation of Love and Religious Messages in Khilma Anis's Novel Hati Suhita

Novel Hati Suhita karya Khilma Anis menceritakan perjuangan cinta dikalangan pesantren. Sesuai dengan penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan objek cinta dari teori Erich Fromm dan pesan religius dengan konsep Burhan Nurgiantoro. Objek cinta teori Erich Fromm ada lima jenis diantaranya, cinta persaudaraan, cinta keibuan, cinta erotis, cinta diri, dan cinta Tuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Hati Suhita karya Khilma Anis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan ada beberapa tahapan, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya 1) cinta persaudaraan terdapat enam data; 2) cinta keibuan terdapat tujuh belas data; 3) cinta erotis terdapat dua puluh data; 4) cinta diri terdapat empat data; 5) cinta Tuhan terdapat sebelas data; dan 6) pesan religius terdapat sebelas data pada novel Hati Suhita karya Khilma Anis. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan baru bagi pembaca maupun peneliti selanjutnya.

The novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis tells the story of the struggle of love among pesantren. In accordance with this research, it aims to describe the object of love from Erich Fromm's theory and religious messages with Burhan Nurgiantoro's concept. There are five types of love objects in Erich Fromm's theory, including brotherly love, maternal love, erotic love, self-love, and love of God. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data source used is the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. The data collection technique used reading and note-taking techniques. The analysis technique used has several stages, identifying, classifying, analyzing, and concluding the results. The results of this study indicate the existence of 1) brotherly love there are six data; 2) maternal love there are seventeen data; 3) erotic love there are twenty data; 4) self-love there are four data; 5) love of God there are eleven data; and 6) religious messages there are eleven data in the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. This research is expected to provide new knowledge and insights for readers and future researchers.
