Penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendiskripsikan tingkat kelayakan pengembangan program etika makan sehari-hari berbasis media visual bagi orang tua untuk anak tunagrahita.(2) Menguji keefektifan tentang produk pengembangan program etika makan sehari-hari berbasis media visual bagi orang tua untuk anak tunagrahita.
Desain penelitian ini menggunakan adaptasi pendekatan model Gall and Gall (2001).Berdasarkan hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa produk program etika makan sehari-hari beerbasis media visual ini layak untuk digunakan oleh orang tua dengan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil perhitungan sebesar 74% dengan kategori baik dan ahli desain sebesar diperoleh perhitungan prosentase sebesarr 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil respon oleh orang tua untuk pemahaman isi buku 89% dengan kategori baik. Analisis keefektifan produk dengan menggunakan uji analisis gain score pada hasil pre-test dan pro-test yakni 0,6 atau berkategori sedang . Berdasarkan kriteria uji gain produk ini dinyatakan efektif
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan program etika makan sehari-hari berbasis media visual bagi orang tua untuk anak tunagrahita dianggap layak dan efektif digunakan untuk orang tua.

This research is (1) to describe the feasibility level of development of daily food-based ethics program based on visual media for parents for children with mental reta,rded, (2) To test the effectiveness of product development of daily food-based ethical program based on visual media fto parents for children with mental reta,rded.
The design of this study using the adaptation of Borg and Gall model approach (2003). Based on the results of the analysis prove that the product of ethical program of daily meal visual media based is feasible for use by parents with the results of validation of material experts obtained the calculation of 74% and design experts for the calculation obtained a percentage of 90 % with very good category. Results of response by parents to understanding the contents of books 89% with good category. Analysis of product effectiveness by using gain score analysis test on pre-test and pro-test that is 0,6 or moderate category. Based on the criteria of product gain test is declared effective.
Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of daily food-based ethics program based on visual media for parents for children tunagrahita considered feasible and effective use for parents.
