PENGARUH MEDIA BUSY BOOK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL WARNA ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN DI SLB AC DHARMA WANITA SIDOARJO

Keterbatasan intelegensi yang dimiliki anak Tunagrahita menjadikan anak tunagrahita kesulitan dalam mengingat warna. Dalam penelitian ini kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak tunagrahita ringan dapat ditingkatkan melalui media pembelajaran Busy Book. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media pembelajaran busy book terhadap kemampuan mengenal warna anak tunagrahita ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test post-test desaign.
Hasil rata-rata pre-test menunjukkan nila 39,52 dan hasil rata-rata post-test 55,23. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian nilai Zh = 2,36 lebih besar dari pada nilai Zt = 1,96 dengan nilai krisis 5% (Zh > Zt) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media busy book berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal warna anak tunagrahita ringan kelas III, IV, V di SLB AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.

THE EFFECT OF BUSY BOOK MEDIA ON ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE THE COLORS OF MILD MENTALLY RETARDED CHILDREN IN SLB AC DHARMA WANITA SIDOARJO

The intellectual limitation of mentally retarded children makes the children have a difficulty in remembering colours. In this study the ability to recognize the colour of mild mentally retarded children can be improved through the Busy Book learning media. The aim of this study is to describe the effect of the busy book learning media on the ability to recognize the colour of the children. This study uses pre-experimental quantitative approach as the research design with one group pre-test and post-test.
The average of pre-test result showed 39.52 and for the post-test result was 55.23. The conclusion of the result showed that the value of Zh=2.36 was greater than the value of Zt = 1.96 with a crisis value of 5% (Zh > Zt) so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It shows that the busy book media gives an effect of the ability to recognize the colour of mild retarded children in III, IV, V grade in SLB AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo.
