Visualisasi Perjuangan Seorang Ibu pada Karya Tari “Satya Biyung” dalam Bentuk Tari Dramatik

Fenomena yang diangkat dalam karya tari ini yaitu kegiatan yang dilakukan di dalam rumah pada saat pandemi covid-19. Keunikan yang terdapat pada fenomena ini yaitu perjuangan oleh seorang ibu untuk membimbing dan mendampingi anaknya ketika belajar di rumah ketika pandemi covid-19. Hal tersebut menjadi daya tarik koreografer untuk memvisualisasikannya menjadi sebuah karya tari. Fokus dalam karya tari Satya Biyung terbagi menjadi dua elemen yaitu elemen bentuk yang berisi konsep tari dramatik dan elemen isi yaitu perjuangan seorang ibu. Koreografer memvisualisasikan gagasan dengan menggunakan gaya gerak pengembangan teknik olah tubuh melalui tipe dramatik dengan berpijak pada metode konstruksi 1 oleh Jacquiline Smith. Mode penyajian pada karya tari ini yaitu simbolis dan representatif. Desain dramatik menggunakan kerucut tunggal berdasarkan teori La Meri. Iringan tari diciptakan menggunakan software editor music. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian karya tari Satya Biyung meliputi  judul, tema, sinopsis, gaya, teknik, dan unsur pendukungnya iringan tari, tata teknik pentas, tata rias dan busana. serta proses penciptaan karya tari berdasarkan teori Jacquiline Smith. Sehingga tercipta dua elemen isi dan bentuk dalam karya tari, koreografer menemukan pengembangan proses kreatif baru untuk menciptakan bentuk dramatik yang terinspirasi dari lingkungan, sebagai sumber pembelajaran bagi pemuda untuk berkreasi dan berkarya seni.

The phenomenon raised in this dance work is activities carried out at home during the covid-19 pandemic. The uniqueness of this phenomenon is the struggle by a mother to guide and accompany her child when studying at home during the covid-19 pandemic. This becomes the attraction of choreographers to visualize it into a dance work. The focus in Satya Biyung's dance work is divided into two elements, namely the form element which contains the concept of dramatic dance and the content element, namely the struggle of a mother. The choreographer visualizes the idea by using the motion style of developing bodybuilding techniques through dramatic type based on the construction method 1 by Jacquiline Smith. The mode of presentation in this dance work is symbolic and representative. Dramatic design using a single cone based on La Meri theory. The dance accompaniment was created using music editor software. The writing of this article aims to describe the form of presentation of Satya Biyung's dance works including the title, theme, synopsis, style, technique, and supporting elements of dance accompaniment, stage technique, makeup and clothing. and the process of creating dance works based on Jacquiline Smith's theory. Thus, creating two elements of content and form in a dance work, the choreographer discovers the development of a new creative process to create dramatic forms that are inspired by the environment, as a source of learning for young people to be creative and create art.
