Penelitian dengan judul “Pengembangan Model Mind Mapping Berbasis TANDUR dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Fiksi Puisi Fase E Kelas X” dilatarbelakangi oleh pengembangan model mind mapping berbasis TANDUR yang sering ditemui dalam pembelajaran namun belum pernah diterapkan dalam kurikulum baru yaitu kurikulum merdeka. Oleh karena itu, disusunlah model mind mapping menggunakan metode TANDUR dalam pembelajaran menulis teks fiksi puisi.
Pengembangan model ini menggunakan metode TANDUR. TANDUR merupakan kerangka pembelajaran quantum learning, serta akronim dari kata Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasi, Ulangi, dan Rayakan. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk meningkatkan rasa keingintahuan siswa dalam demontrasi pembelajaran. Tentu menarik, apabila model dan metode pembelajaran tersebut dipadukan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat menciptakan kondisi belajar yang bermakna dan kecintaan terhadap Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa nasional. Selain itu, siswa diminta untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam adaptasi di berbagai situasi. Pembelajaran model mind mapping juga dapat menguatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengingat setiap kata kunci materi.
Fokus penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan (1) proses pengembangan model mind mapping berbasis TANDUR dalam pembelajaran menulis teks fiksi puisi fase E kelas X, (2) kualitas model pengembangan mind mapping berbasis TANDUR dalam pembelajaran menulis teks fiksi puisi fase E kelas X yang meliputi kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan 4D meliputi pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Namun, pada tahapan akhir yaitu tahap penyebaran tidak terlaksanakan karena keterbatasan dana dan penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas X-3 dan X-4 SMA Negeri 20 Surabaya. Teknik penelitian ini yaitu wawancara untuk mengetahui karakteristik siswa dan angket untuk mengetahui kebutuhan siswa. Proses pemerolehan data mengenai kualitas model mind mapping didapatkan dengan teknik validasi oleh validator. Keefektifan model mind mapping diukur menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu teknik observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas pembelajaran pendidik dan peserta didik, teknik tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik, dan teknik angket untuk mengetahui respons peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks fiksi puisi menggunakan model mind mapping berbasis TANDUR fase E kelas X.
Hasil penelitian menghasilkan model pembelajaran dengan judul “Pengembangan Model Mind Mapping Berbasis TANDUR dalam Pembelajaran Menulis”. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) proses pengembangan model mind mapping menggunakan metode pembelajaran TANDUR pada materi teks fiksi puisi sesuai dengan model pengembangan Thiagarajan 4D, (2) kualitas model mind mapping berbasis TANDUR berdasarkan kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Model mind mapping dinilai “sangat layak” oleh keempat validator dari komponen isi dan komponen penyajian media dengan nilai 86,42%. Sementara itu, pada tahap uji coba terbatas dan luas model mind mapping memperoleh kualifikasi “sangat baik” berdasarkan hasil observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Aktivitas siswa pada uji coba luas memperoleh nilai 93,75% dengan kualifikasi “sangat baik”, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada uji coba luas memperoleh nilai 89,21% dengan kualifikasi “sangat baik”. Hasil respons siswa pada uji coba luas memperoleh nilai 91,20% dengan kualifikasi “sangat baik”.

The research entitled “Development of a TANDUR Based Mind Mapping Model in Learning to Write Fiction Text Poetry Phase E Class X” was motivated by the development of a TANDUR based mind mapping model which is often found in learning but has never been applied in a new curriculum, namely an independent curriculum. Therefore, a mind mapping model was compiled with the TANDUR method in learning to write poetry fiction text.
The development of this model uses the TANDUR method. TANDUR is a quantum learning framework, as well as an acronym for the words Grow, Natural, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate. This method is used to increase students curiosity in learning demonstrations. Of course, it is interesting if these learning models and methods are integrated in learning, because they can create meaningful learning conditions and love for Indonesian as a national language. In addition, students are required to have critical thinking skills in adapting to various situations. Learning the mind mapping model can also strengthen students ability to remember each material keyword.
The focus of this study is to describe (1) the process of developing a TANDUR based mind mapping model in learning to write phase E class X poetry fiction texts, (2) the quality of a TANDUR based mind mapping development model in learning to write phase E class X poetry fiction texts which includes validity, effectiveness, and practicality.
This research uses the Thiagarajan 4D development model including defining, designing, developing, and deploying. However, at the final stage, namely the dissemination stage, it was not carried out due to limited funding and research. The subject of this study were students of grades X-3 and X-4 of Senior High School 20 Surabaya. This research technique is an interview to find out the characteristics of students and a questionnaire to find out the needs of student. The process of obtaining data regarding the quality of the mind mapping model is obtained by validation techniques by validators. The effectiveness of the mind mapping model is measured using three techniques, namely observation techniques to determine the learning ectivities of educators and students, test techniques to determine student learning outcomes, and questionnaire techniques to determine student responses in learning to write poetry fiction texts using the TANDUR phase E Class X based mind mapping model.
The result of the study produced a learning model entitled “Development of a TANDUR Based Mind Mapping Model in Writing Learning”. The results if this study are (1) the process of developing a mind mapping model using the TANDUR learning method on poetry fiction text material in accordance with the Thiagarajan 4D development model, (2) the quality of the TANDUR based mind mapping model us assessed from three components such as validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The mind mapping model was rated “very feasible” by the four validators from the content component and the media presentation component with a value of 86,42%. Meanwhile, in the limited and extensive trial stage, the mind mapping model obtained “excellent” qualifications based on observations and tests of student learning outcomes. Student activity in the broad trial obtained a score of 93,75% with a qualification of “very good”, while the learning outcomes of students in the broad trial obtained a score of 89,21% with a qualification of “verry good”. The results of student responses in the broad trial obtained a score of 91,20% with a qualification of “very good”.
