This study aims to analyze the dormitory-based Christian character education that has been implemented at the Abdi Allah Evangelical Theological College Trawas Mojokerto. The implementation of Christian character education is reviewed from 4 (four) main focuses, namely curriculum management, implementation strategies, character values and evaluation of boarding Christian character education curriculum management in finding a suitable and appropriate recommendation model for boarding Christian character education on the STTIAA Trawas Mojokerto campus.
This research uses qualitative design. The research site was at STTIAA Trawas Mojokerto. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation/records. Research data from the chairman of STTIAA, lecturers and employees. The collected research data was then analyzed in depth by going through codification, data display and conclusion drawing on each research focus. Furthermore, it is analyzed in order to compile a concept and point to existing findings. Research data validation uses four main elements, namely credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability.
The results showed that; (1) dormitory Christian character education is planned to be adjusted to the vision, mission and tag line of the campus, integrating Christian character curriculum learning in class, spiritual guidance is carried out continuously until in the dormitory and coaching activities are carried out outside the classroom, (2) implementation strategies are carried out through habituation as long as students take effective courses including: clarity of rules and consistency of regulations, (3) Christian character values taught include holy, love, commitment, resilience, (4) evaluation of curriculum management includes: response from leaders, commitment and exemplary stakeholder institutions STTIAA Trawas Mojokerto.
