IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FRIDAY CLASS PROGRAM ASDEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' VOCATIONAL SKILLS PAKET A IN HOMESCHOOLING KAK SETO SURABAYA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses implementasi program Friday Class dengan menerapkan empat prinsip manajemen POAC yaitu perencanaan (planning),pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuacting), dan pengawasan (controlling). Dengan fokus penelitian pada pengembangan vocational skill melalui empat aspek antara lain aspek mengenal peralatan, aspek mengenal bahan, mengerjakan secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat, serta penguasaan kompetensi dan keterampilan. Serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dari implementasi program Friday Class.Penerapan metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui metode kualitatif dan disajikan secara deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan analisis data dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan keseimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa proses implementasi program Friday Class sebagai pengembangan vocational skills yang dijalankan oleh peserta didik Paket A sudah terlaksana cukup maksimal dan terlaksana dengan baik, namun ada beberapa yang masih perlu diperbaiki dan ditingkatkan kembali sebagai keberlangsungan program dimasa mendatang. Faktor pendukung implementasi viiprogram Friday Class adalah kualitas sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berkompeten serta adanya fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambat implementasi program Friday Class yaitu tingkat kedisiplinan yang kurang maksimal, keterbatasan dan kurang lengkapnya bahan atau peralatan yang dibutuhkan, dan faktor alokasi waktu yang masih belum efisien.

This study aims to examine the implementation process of the Friday Class program by applying four POAC management principles, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. With the focus of research on the development of vocational skills through four aspects, including aspects of knowing equipment, aspects of knowing materials, working quickly, precisely, and accurately, and mastery of competencies and skills. As well as supporting factors and inhibiting factors from the implementation of the Friday Class program.The application of the research method used is a qualitative method and presented descriptively. Researchers use data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study in the form of the implementation process of the Friday Class program as a development of vocational skills carried out by Paket A students have been carried out quite optimally and well implemented, but there are some that still need to be improved and enhanced again as the sustainability of the program in the future. Supporting factors for the implementation of the Friday Class program are the quality of superior and competent human resources and the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting ixfactors for the implementation of the Friday Class program are the level of discipline that is less than optimal, the limitations and incompleteness of the materials or equipment needed, and the time allocation factor that is still not efficient.
