Expressive Writing to Manage Anger Emotions of Elementary School Students Verbal bullying Victims
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan di Kelas V-B SDN Lidah Wetan II/462 Surabaya, diketahui 3 siswa yang kurag mampu dalam megelola emosi marah ketika mendapatkan perundungan verbal dari temannya berupa ejekan, julukan tidak pantas, perkataan tidak menyenangkan, celaan, dll. Hal ini didukung hasil wawancara dengan wali kelas dan assessment pada subjek perlakuan, diantaranya yaitu mudahnya tersulut emosi marah, kurang dapat mengendalikan emosi marah, ingin memukul dan mengajak berkelahi teman yang melakukan perundungan verbal terhadapnya. Kurangnya kemampuan dalam mengelola emosi marah yang diakibatkan oleh perundungan verbal dapat membuat siswa berada dalam bahaya fisik , psikologis dan sosial. Sehingga perlu dicegah dengan cara meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola emosi marah yang dimiliki, yaitu dengan teknik expressive writing. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola emosi marah siswa kelas V-B SDN Lidah Wetan II/462 dengan menggunakan teknik expressive writing. Berdasakan metodologi penelitian, penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif. Sedangkan berdasarkan jenis penelitiannya, termasuk dalam penelitian experimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pre-test dan post-testd design. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket mengelola emosi mara, subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas 5 dari SDN Lidah Wetan II yang berada dalam kategori “rendah”. Data dalam penelitian ini diuji menggunakan Uji Uji Shapiro Wilk, sehingga diketahui bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan sig. 0,637. Setelah diketahui bahwa data berdistribusi normal, kemudian data dianalisis dengan Uji Paired Sample T Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui nilai rata-rata pre-test 35,333 dan post-test 56,333, sehingga diketahui perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test yaitu 21,00. Hasil dari Uji Paired Sample T Test menunjukkan nilai sid. (2-Tailed) 0,001 dengan batas kritis penelitian 0,05, maka diketahui bahwa 0,001<0,05. Sehingga dapat diambil keputusan Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima dengan melihat hasil perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Sehingga dapat diambil kepurtusan bahwa “Teknik expressive writing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola emosi marah siswa Sekolah Dasar korban perundungan berbal pada kelas V-B SDN Lidah Wetan II/462”.
Based on the result of research in Class V-B SDN Lidah Wetan II/462 Surabaya, 3 students are known to be less able to manage angry emotions when getting verbal bullying from their friend in the form of ridicule, inappropriate nicknames, unpleasant words, reproach, etc. This is supported by the results of interviews with homeroom teachers and assessments on treatment subjects, among them are easily ignited angry emotions, less able to control angry emotions, want to hit and invite a fight with friends who do verbal bullying on them. Lack of ability to manage angry emotions due to verbal bullying can put students in physical, psychological and social danger. So that needs to be prevented by improving the ability to manage angry emotions owned, with the expressive writing techniques. This study aims to improve the ability to manage angry emotions in V-B grade students at SDN Lidah Wetan II / 462 by using expressive writing techniques. Based on research methodology, this research include a quantitative research. While based on the type of research, this research is experimental research. The research design used is one group pre-test design and post-test design. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire managing angry emotions, the subject of this study were 3 5th grade students from SDN Lidah Wetan II who were in the "low" category. The data in this study were tested using the Shapiro Wilk Test, so it is known that the data are normally distributed with sign. 0.637. Once it is known that the data is normally distributed, then the data are analyzed by Paired Sample T-Test. Based on the analysis results it is known that the pre-test average value is 35.333 and the post-test 56.333, so that the difference between the pre-test and post-test values is 21.00. Results of Test Paired Sample T-Test showed sign. (2-tailed) 0.001 to the critical limit of 0.05 studies, it is known that 0.001 <0.05. so that decisions can be Ha Rejected and Ho Accepted by looking at the results of differences before and after treatment. So, it can be concluded that "Expressive writing Technique can improve the ability to manage angry emotions in elementary students of verbal bullying victims in the V-B class of SDN Lidah Wetan II / 462".
