Development of Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS)-Oriented Electronic Student Worksheet on Environmental Change Material to Train Problem-Solving Skills
Perkembangan global menuntut peningkatan kompetensi abad ke-21 sebagai upaya dalam tujuan pembangunan keberlanjutan, salah satunya adalah keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil studi PISA 2022 menunjukkan rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik Indonesia dalam sains dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) berorientasi Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) pada materi perubahan lingkungan khusunya submateri masalah lingkungan untuk melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) dengan model Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) yang melibatkan 35 peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya. Validitas E-LKPD diperoleh melalui uji validasi oleh para ahli, keefektifan melalui uji N-Gain dari pre-test dan post-test, dan kepraktisan melalui angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD sangat valid dengan skor 96,24%, sangat efektif melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dengan N-Gain 0,79 kategori tinggi dan 100% peserta didik tuntas dengan rata-rata ketercapaian tiap indikator 88,98%, sangat praktis berdasarkan respon peserta didik 93,14%. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD berorientasi SETS yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran biologi.
Global developments necessitate an increase in 21st-century competencies as part of efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, one of which is problem-solving skills. The results of the PISA 2022 study indicate that Indonesian students have a low ability in science and problem-solving. This research aims to develop a Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS)-oriented Electronic Student Worksheet on environmental change material, especially the environmental problem submaterial, to train problem-solving skills. The research used the Research and Development (R & D) method with the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) model involving 35 students of class X 16 Senior High School Surabaya. The validity of the Electronic Student Worksheet was obtained through a validation test by experts, effectiveness through the N-Gain test from pre-test and post-test, and practicality through the student response questionnaire. The results showed that the Electronic Student Worksheet was very valid with a score of 96.24%, very effective in practicing problem solving skills with an N-Gain of 0.79 in the high category and 100% of students were complete with an average achievement of each indicator of 88.98%, very practical based on student responses of 93.14%. Thus, the developed SETS-oriented Electronic Student Worksheet is declared feasible and can be used to improve the quality of biology learning.
