Inspirasi Sisik Ular Sebagai Sumber Ide Penciptaan Busana Pesta

Inspiration from snake scales as a source of ideas for creating party clothing

Sisik ular adalah struktur yang melapisi tubuh ular, memiliki fungsi untuk melindungi tubuh, mengoptimalkan pergerakan ular, menjaga kelembapan tubuhnya, dan memainkan peran penting dalam adaptasi dan evolusi spesies tersebut. Sehingga munculah sumber ide sisik ular sebagai inspirasi untuk mewujudkan karya busana pesta. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan dan hasil jadi penciptaan busana pesta dengan sumber ide sisik ular. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode double diamond yang terdapat 4 tahap yaitu discover, define, develop, dan deliver. Tahap discover yaitu pencarian ide dan informasi tentang sumber ide yang dipilih, sumber ide yang terpilih adalah sisik ular. Lalu tahap define yaitu pembuatan moodboard yang bertujuan sebagai tempat untuk menuangkan informasi dari sumber idenya. Selanjutnya tahap develop yaitu pembuatan dan pengembangan busana pesta. Terakhir tahap deliver yaitu tahap evaluasi pada busana pesta. Hasil jadi busana pesta wanita yang menerapkan detail manipulating fabric tucking pada bagian tengah muka dan manipulating fabric slashing pada bagian tengah belakang berupa sayap yang menjutai dengan sumber ide sisik ular kemudian busana pesta pria menerapkan sablon yang bermotif ular pada bagian depan kiri.

A Snake scales are structures that cover the snake's body, have the function of protecting the body, optimizing the snake's movement, maintaining body moisture, and play an important role in the adaptation and evolution of the species. So, a source of ideas for snake scales emerged as inspiration for creating party fashion works. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the process of making and the finished product of creating party clothing using the idea of snake scales. The method used is the double diamond method which has 4 stages, namely discover, define, develop, and deliver. The discover stage is searching for ideas and information about the source of the selected idea, the source of the selected idea is snake scales. Then the define stage is making a moodboard, the moodboard is a place to express information from the source of the idea. The next stage of development is the creation and development of party clothing. The final stage of delivery is the evaluation stage of the party attire. The results of this research resulted in the creation of party clothing that applies detailed manipulation of fabric tucking, slashing and screen printing which originates from the idea of snake scales.
