CHOICE OF WORDS IN THE EVENT OF THE EYE OF NAJWA IN TRANS 7

ABSTRAK

               Acara Mata Najwa sangat fenomenal. Pemirsanya cukup banyak, dibawakan oleh seorang presenter muda yang cukup terkenal yaitu Najwa Shihab. Acara tersebut sebenarnya disiarkan di TV Trans 7, namun kemudian disiarkan ulang melalui streaming di internet. Bila dilihat dari aspek bahasanya, penggunaan bentuk rimanya cukup menonjol, pilihan katanya cukup apik dan menarik untuk diteliti. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada bentuk dan makna pilihan kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimana bentuk dan makna pilihan kata pada acara Mata Najwa di Trans 7.

               Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penenelitian yang berusaha mendeskripsikan suatu objek, fenomena data bahasa seperti apa adanya. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak dan catat dari beberapa acara pada bulan september 2019. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) bentuk rima yang sering muncul pada acara Mata Najwa di Trans 7 adalah rima kembar dengan kemunculan sebanyak 11 kali, rima rangkai dengan kemunculan sebanyak 3 kali, rima akhir dengan kemunculan sebanyak 2 kali, rima sempurna dengan kemunculan sebanyak 2 kali, dan rima merdeka dengan kemunculan 1 kali; (2) Makna kata yang sering muncul dalam pilihan katanya berupa makna denotasi, konotasi, dan asosiasi. Ketiga makna tersebut dihubungkan dengan makna ilokusionalnya yang berupa asertif, direktif, dan komisif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran secara umum tentang bentuk dan makna pilihan kata yang terdapat  pada acara Mata Najwa di Trans 7.

ABSTRACT

The Mata Najwa program was phenomenal. The audience is quite a lot, brought by a young presenter who is quite famous, namely Najwa Shihab. The program was actually broadcast on Trans 7 TV, but was later rebroadcast via streaming on the internet. When viewed from the aspect of the language, the use of the speech form is quite prominent, the choice of words is quite neat and interesting to study. Therefore, this research focuses on the form and meaning of word choices. This study aims to describe how the form and meaning of word choices at the Mata Najwa program on Trans 7.

This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that is research that seeks to describe an object, the phenomenon of language data as it is. The research data was collected through listening and note-taking from several events in September 2019. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that (1) the rhyme form that often appears at the Mata Najwa event in Trans 7 is a twin rhyme with 11 appearances, a rhyme with the appearance 3 times, the final rhyme with the appearance of 2 times, the perfect rhyme with the appearance of 2 times, and the rhyme independent with the appearance of 1 time; (2) The meaning of the word that often appears in the choice of words in the form of denotation, connotation, and association meaning. The three meanings are connected with the ilokusional meaning in the form of assertive, directive, and commissive. This research is expected to be able to provide a general description of the form and meaning of word choices contained in the Mata Najwa event on Trans 7.
