Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas media Galactic Spin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal tekstur pada anak usia 4 hingga 5 tahun; kepraktisan media Galactic Spin untuk menstimulasi kemampuan mengenal tekstur pada anak usia 4 hingga 5 tahun, serta; mengeahui keefektifan media Galactic Spin untuk menstimulasi kemampuan mengenal tekstur pada anak usia 4 hingga 5 tahun. Adapun penelitian berbasis penelitian R & D dengan metode ADDIE. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah instrumen penerapan media Galactic Spin terhadap indikator tekstur anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Putra Harapan Wiyung dikategorikan valid menurut hasil uji Pearson Correlation dengan nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 dan nilai r table lebih dari 0,75. Selain itu, kuesioner dikatakan reliabel dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,94 yang lebih dari 0,6. Penerapan media Galactic Spin terhadap indikator tekstur anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Putra Harapan Wiyung dikategorikan praktis sehingga dapat meningkatkan kognitif siswa kelas A1 dan A2 dengan N-Gain rata-rata kelas A1 sebesar 69,92% dan kelas A2 sebesar 67,57%, Penerapan media Galactic Spin terhadap indikator tekstur anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Putra Harapan Wiyung dikategorikan efektif karena nilai signifikansinya kurang dari 0,05 dengan rincian nilai signifikansi kelas A1 sebesar 0.000 dan kelas A2 sebesar 0,001.

The study aims to determine the validity of the Galactic Spin media to improve the ability to recognize textures in children aged 4 to 5 years; the practicality of the Galactic Spin media to stimulate the ability to recognize textures in children aged 4 to 5 years, and; to determine the effectiveness of the Galactic Spin media to stimulate the ability to recognize textures in children aged 4 to 5 years. The research is based on R & D research with the ADDIE method. The results of this study are the instruments for applying the Galactic Spin media to the texture indicators of children aged 5-6 years at Putra Harapan Wiyung Kindergarten are categorized as valid according to the results of the Pearson Correlation test with a significance value of less than 0.05 and an r table value of more than 0.75. In addition, the questionnaire is said to be reliable with a significance value of 0.94 which is more than 0.6. The application of Galactic Spin media to the texture indicators of children aged 5-6 years at Putra Harapan Wiyung Kindergarten is categorized as practical so that it can improve the cognitive abilities of students in classes A1 and A2 with an average N-Gain of class A1 of 69.92% and class A2 of 67.57%. The application of Galactic Spin media to the texture indicators of children aged 5-6 years at Putra Harapan Wiyung Kindergarten is categorized as effective because the significance value is less than 0.05 with details of the significance value of class A1 of 0.000 and class A2 of 0.001.
