DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE LEARNING MATERIAL USING PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODELS ASSISTED WITH GESIT APPLICATIONS TO IMPROVE THE SCIENCE LITERACY CAPABILITY OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan materi pembelajaran IPA yang tepat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan aplikasi gesit untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa di SMPN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan. Pengembangan perangkat ini dikembangkan berdasarkan model pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall yang diujikan kepada siswa kelas VII-C, VII-D, dan VII-E semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di SMPN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan dengan desain uji coba One-Group Pretest. -Desain Postes. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan validasi, observasi, tes dan angket dengan menggunakan dua sekolah yang masing-masing pada tiga kelas penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase persetujuan, uji t berpasangan, perhitungan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran. Data penelitian yang dianalisis adalah validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran dan dianalisis secara deskriptif, kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid, (b) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik di seluruh kelas, (c) aktivitas siswa berkategori baik, (d) keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan pada kategori tinggi. , dan (e) persentase respon siswa dengan kategori respon positif. Berdasarkan kesimpulan yang diperoleh, maka telah dikembangkan hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang tepat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan aplikasi gesit untuk meningkatkan literasi sains yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa.
This research aims to produce appropriate science learning materials using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by gesit applications to improve students' scientific literacy skills at SMPN 2 Sukorejo, Pasuruan Regency. The results of the research show that: (a) the learning tools developed are categorized as very valid, (b) the implementation of learning is categorized as very good in all classes, (c) student activities are categorized as good, (d) students' science process skills have increased to the high category. , and (e) percentage of student responses in the positive response category. Based on the conclusions obtained, the results of the development of appropriate science learning tools using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by gesit app to increase scientific literacy have been developed which are suitable for use to increase students' scientific literacy.
