MELALUI PROGRAM KEGIATAN MENGAJAR PADA KOMUNITAS SAVE STREET CHILD SURABAYA (SSCS)

PROGRAM THROUGH TEACHING ACTIVITIES IN THE SURABAYA COMMUNITY SAVE STREET CHILDREN (SSCS)
Permasalahan anak jalanan kerap kali dijumpai, dan permasalahan ini belum terselesaikan dari tahun ke tahun. Anak jalanan memiliki beberapa macam kriteria, tergantung pada jenis dan kasus anak jalanan tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan agar permasalahan ini dapat terbantu dengan adanya komunitas sosial. Salah satu komunitas sosial yang menanggani kasus anak jalanan yaitu komunitas save street child Surabaya (SSCS). Kasus anak jalanan pada komunitas SSCS tersebut rata-rata children on the street (anak jalanan yang bekerja di jalan). Dari kasus tersebut membuat kurangnya motivas belajar yang dimiliki karena harus membantu perekonomian keluarga. Adanya komunitas SSCS ini membantu anak jalanan untuk mewujudkan motivasi belajarnya dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dimiliki nya. Salah satu kegitatan yang dapat mewujudkan motivasi belajar nya yaitu dengan program kegiatan mengajar. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, tempat penelitian ini di komunitas save street child Surabaya, di basecamp serta tempat dilaksanakan nya program kegiatan mengajar. Informan berasal dari pengurus komunitas SSCS, pendamping belajar anak jalanan, dan anak jalanan komunitas SSCS. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data atau kesimpulan. Setelah tahapan tersebut data diuji keabsahannya dengan kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan pendampingan belajar anak jalanan untuk motivasi belajar pada program kegiatan mengajar pada komunitas SSCS. Kegiatan pendampingan memberikan hal positif kepada peserta didik karena motivasi belajar nya dapat terwujud. Pendamping memberikan dorongan, nasihat, motivasi, arahan, dan aspek-aspek pribadi lainnya agar terwujudnya motivasi belajar anak jalanan. (2) faktor pendukung anak jalanan dapat dilihat dari faktor internal (minat, bakat, kesehatan, motivasi, intelegensi, dll), dan faktor eksternal nya (lingkungan sekitar, keluarga, Masyarakat). (3) faktor penghambat belajar anak jalanan dapat dilihat dari kesulitan belajar nya, penguasaan bidang studi yang dipelajari, dan dilihat dari segi penyebab. Adanya pendampingan belajar yang dilakukan oleh pendamping ini membuat anak jalanan mengalami kemajuan dan kemauan untuk mengerjakan soal yang diberikan, mengerjakan tugas atau tantangan-tantangan yang diberikan selama proses pembelajaran, mau mengikuti arahan pendamping, percaya diri, dan mau aktif bertanya dan menjawab pembelajaran selama proses pembelajaran.

The problem of street children is often encountered, and this problem has not been resolved from year to year. Street children have several kinds of criteria, depending on the type and case of the street child. Efforts are being made to ensure that this problem can be helped by the existence of social communities. One of the social communities that handles street children cases is the Save Street Child Surabaya (SSCS) community. The cases of street children in the SSCS community are mostly children on the street (street children who work on the street). This case results in a lack of motivation to study because they have to help the family economically. The existence of the SSCS community helps street children to realize their learning motivation through the activities they have. One activity that can realize motivation to learn is a teaching activity program. The researcher used a qualitative approach, the location of this research was in the Save Street Child Surabaya community, at the basecamp and where the teaching activity program was carried out. Informants came from SSCS community administrators, street children's learning assistants, and SSCS community street children. Data was collected using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this research uses data condensation, data presentation, data verification or conclusions. After this stage, the data is tested for validity using credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the research show that (1) the implementation of learning assistance for street children for learning motivation in teaching activity programs in the SSCS community. Mentoring activities provide positive things to students because their learning motivation can be realized. The mentor provides encouragement, advice, motivation, direction, and other personal aspects so that street children's motivation to learn is realized. (2) supporting factors for street children can be seen from internal factors (interest, talent, health, motivation, intelligence, etc.), and external factors (surrounding environment, family, community). (3) factors inhibiting street children's learning can be seen from their learning difficulties, mastery of the field of study being studied, and seen in terms of causes. The learning assistance provided by this assistant makes street children progress and are willing to work on the questions given, carry out assignments or challenges given during the learning process, willing to follow the guidance of the mentor, confident, and willing to actively ask and answer learning during the process. learning.
