 SWIVEL TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF DRUMMER HATA ARYASATYA AND OKY FADHLAN

Abstrak

       Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan permainan teknik swivel pada drummer Hata Aryasatya dan Oky Fadlan. Perkembangan permainan drum yang semakin pesat menyebabkan lahirnya teknik swivel ini yang berfungsi agar tidak mudah lelah saat memainkan musik dengan tempo cepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan mengelompokkan data dat dianalisis disusun secara berurutan sehingga saling berhubungan. Dalam penelitian ini dibahas tentang latar belakang drummer Oky dan Hata serta ciri khasnya dalam bermain drum serta perbedaannya. Perbedaan teknik swivel menurut Hata Arsatya dan Oki Fadlan terdapat pada penggunaan pedal. Teknik ini dinilai efektif dalam digunakan untuk musik bertempo cepat agar tidak mudah lelah.

Abstract

       The results of this study indicate that there are differences in playing the swivel technique for drummer Hata Aryasatya and Oky Fadlan. The rapid development of drum playing has led to the birth of this swivel technique which functions so that you don't get tired easily when playing music with a fast tempo. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique is to group the data analyzed sequentially so that they are interconnected. This research discusses the background of Oky and Hata drummers and their characteristics in playing drums and their differences. According to Hata Arsatya and Oki Fadlan, the difference in the swivel technique is in the use of the pedals. This technique is considered effective when used for fast tempo music so you don't get tired easily.
