The effect of work stress and social support on job satisfaction during the transition back to work from office (WFO)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh stres kerja yang dimoderasi oleh dukungan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dan staf administrasi di SD Islam Al-Chusnaini pada masa transisi kembali bekerja dari kantor sejak pandemi Covid 19. Responden terdiri dari 57 orang, kemudian diambil sampel sebanyak 51 orang. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan simple random sampling untuk mengumpulkan sampel melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Microsoft Excel dan software SmartPLS 3.0 untuk menguji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan dukungan sosial tidak memoderasi stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karena tingkat stres yang dirasakan guru dan staf administrasi tidak akut. Namun, dukungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dan tenaga administrasi SD Islam Al-Chusnaini. 

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of work stress moderated by social support on the job satisfaction of teachers and administrative staff at Al-Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School during the transition back to work from the office since the COVID-19 pandemic. Respondents consisted of 57 people, then 51 people were used as samples. This quantitative study used simple random sampling to collect samples through questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. This research uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique, Microsoft Excel and SmartPLS 3.0 software to test the hypothesis. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that work stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, and social support does not moderate job stress on job satisfaction because the stress level felt by teachers and administrative staff is not acute. However, social support has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of teachers and administrative staff of Al-Chusnaini Islamic Elementary School.
